Tucked in a corner at Harvard square. Food is truly amazing, our server was very nice and courteous. A little pricey but worthy. We ordered lobster role, fish and chips, lobster carbonara and Mac& cheese.

Convenient seafood restaurant in Harvard square, very nice place to grab a quick lunch or dinner with your friend. Must order their octopus and lobster carbonara.

Fantastic little Italian-American bistro tucked away in a quiet alley, with great service and ambiance. Great spot for lunch and dinner meetings and get-togethers. They have a lunch menu with delicious sandwiches but their absolute best are the crab cakes and lobster carbonara. They also offer oysters! Make sure to book a table in advance.

Everything was awesome. The staff, the food and the drinks. Where else can you get a smoked Negroni? The seafood pasta was so good and the Yuza Ginger was one of the best cocktails I've ever had!

I used to go there a lot. It was a cozy and very local seafood restaurant. Since the new owner renovated it, it lost a lot of it's fisherman charm and the prices went through the roof. It focuses now less on good seafood but more on cocktails and pasta. Like mussels used to be 12 dollars, now it's 30. Small dishes went up from 9 dollars to 16 in 2 years. They also don't do dollar oysters anymore. It's sad.

I've had the pleasure of dining out at over 150 places easily in Massachusetts. I've never in my life had seafood and drinks prepared for me the way that it was at The Red House. An easy five stars without even thinking about it. I'll definitely be back. Great job guys!!!!!

I cannot get over what they did to the historic fabric of the building. By removing the 200+ year old fireplaces and wall paneling you take away the cozy atmosphere that makes your restaurant special! It is quite shocking and I am surprised the city of Cambridge does not have laws to protect its historic structures. Like the reviewer below, I enjoyed coming here for the intimate feel but now the inside looks like any other modern build. What a shame.

Always fabulous. They make very interesting cocktails and the seafood is excellent. We usually try to sit on the patio, but it's just as much fun to nestle into a back room and kick back.
