Formaggio Kitchen - Cambridge

We ordered a cheese sampler basket delivery for our office staff (80 people) over the holidays. Formaggio Kitchen did an incredible job of coordinating a beautiful gift basket for our employees, and was extremely helpful and flexible with making sure all the deliveries were on time and done right. They showed great patience and professionalism as we experienced delays on our end, and were cooperative all the way. As highly as I can speak of the employees at Formaggio Kitchen, I have to speak even more about the quality of the product. The cheese and snacks were absolutely incredible, we highly recommend Formaggio Kitchen to anyone looking for high quality products, and especially to those who want to send a gift for a special occasion.

Gourmet cheese is only the beginning at Formaggio Kitchen. Fresh meats and vegetables, domestic and imported wines and specialty items, and a unique assortment of exclusive imports reflect their policy of buying directly from the producers, the farmers and cheese makers, rather than importing through distributors. They maintain their own cheese storage cave under the bright, new store where they recently moved. I also enjoy their variety of online cheese courses and tastings.

No pareil cheese selection, and capers, and tinned fish, and mustards, vinegars - DAYYUMMM! 1 small thing: if I ask if they have an Amarone, I really dislike that my wine preference is denigrated as 'cloying' as another red wine on hand is proffered in its stead. As well, I **really** dislike that they sell "Plantation" Peanuts. For those who understand, you'll understand... Went there Sunday- 3 July '22- and am HAPPY to announce that they no longer sell Plantation(slave labor camp) Peanuts! This place rocks.

Shelves stocked with cheeses and meats? Check. A huge selection of delicious foods? Check. Friendly staff? Check. This place is insane. I cannot recommend it more. Having lived in Europe for a year, I know about shops like these, and I've got pretty high standards. They have sandwiches, prepared food, and they even offer cooking classes. They also have a section with candy, jams and preserves, flowers, and a wide selection of wine and beer. This place is amazing.

A food lovers treasure trove of not just cheese and charcuterie in fact Formaggio supplies many if not all of the top local restaurants. There are pastas and sauces, produce, ice cream, chocolates and pastries. Every holiday has extra goodies from around the world to down the street. Coffee, craft beer and nuts. The staff us knowledgeable and worth having them help you and weigh in on everything from wine and cheese to vinegar and mustard.
