Interesting takeout specials from an omakase place. Recently got their uni donburi, jigoku chirashi, and the regular chirashi, and everything was superb. The ordering process was a bit complicated as it required me to fill out a long Google form and a phone call at specific time frame for payment. Nevertheless, it was definitely worth the hassle. Uni donburi was topped with staggering amount of uni, and the array of sushi bits on the chirashi don was also unique and interesting. Uni here was less briny and more creamy and buttery than what I’m used to, but I enjoyed it. On the other hand, the quality of the sushi on top of the chriashi was not the best, but understandable given the price. Overall, this place definitely stands out in East Cambridge for its inventive sushi dishes. Chef Chris also seemed to be a creative and detail-oriented itamae, and I would definitely return to try his omakase.

Incredibly intimate and high level culinary experience. Chef Chris is a master of his craft, and it was great to hear him explain all of the dishes and ingredients and the tremendous amount of thought and work put into everything. One of the best meals I have ever had.

We had an amazing Omakase dinner and it was perfection. Fantastic, unique dishes and some great sake. I highly recommend reaching out to the chef and setting up your done in experience. It's a small place and I believe he is only doing two seatings per night right now. We had the entire place to ourselves

By far, the best sushi around. I appreciate Chef Chris’s thoughtfulness when he prepares the meals - he labels the container, outlining the sequence in which you should eat the fish, and includes a spreadsheet, indicating which fish is what. Of course you can eat in whatever order you want, but the flavor is optimal in the order he lays out. Tastes just like the sushi I had in Tokyo. Seriously. Fish is so fresh.

Phenomenal take out sushi and other food by an amazing chef. The ordering process is a little complicated, but it's worth it for the specials Chef Chris periodically offers. I honestly can't wait to try indoor dining when things look better.

This is probably the most interesting restaurant in all of Cambridge! I love the atmosphere here, and every dish is so creative and tasty! We came here without reservation and got a seat at the bar on a Saturday evening. We ordered the spicy tuna tartare, salmon tataki, loco moco, and the kalua pork onigiri for the two of us. All were delicious, but the best were the salmon and the loco moco. The dishes came out fairly quickly and the presentation was great! I got the grapefruit+calpico+shochu+tonic cocktail which was incredibly tasty! We also got the matcha zenzai dessert, which was only okay. The bill came out to about $100 for the two of us, but definitely worth it for a special occasion!!

The food tasted great, but the experience in all was a little disappointing. I went to Momi Nonmi for brunch because Japanese brunch sounded like a unique breakfast option. Aside from the decor however, our food wasn't that different. A unique part of Momi's Tamagoyaki set was the edamame croquette which was delicious, as were the other aspects -- brussel sprouts, sausage and scrambled eggs. The unique part of the deconstructed oyako dip was the sauces added to the poached egg, but aside from this, it was just a piece of fried chicken. Another somewhat disappointing part was the service -- one waitress attending to all the tables may explain why we never received the oolong tea that we ordered. She apologized afterwards and offered us the cup of tea for free. All in all the food was delicious, but it just wasn't the experience we were hoping for, especially considering the price.

We ate brunch here and it was amazing. The food was delicious and unlike any Japanese food I've had before. There is amazing attention to detail in the taste. They are also incredibly Gluten-free friendly. Only one item on the brunch menu had wheat and the fryer was wheat free.
