Peking House Restaurant

Delicious!!! Full-bodied flavor! The prices are a little higher than I'm used to paying elsewhere; but, the flavor... YUM! We were leary about visiting because no cars but the food is good and plenty of people visited after we sat down. Waitress was really sweet. Shrimp Bomb Sushi had an excellent flavor! Now, we're going to enjoy fried ice cream... Very interesting! Vanilla ice cream in tempura batter?! Great flavor. The interior is a little dated; but, food & smiling service makes up for it!!!

Great food but the portions were so small it was laughable. I met my fiancee there for lunch. With Covid some places you still can't dine in, this place is one of them, so I order two General Tso's combination meals. First thing, it doesn't come with pork fried rice, nope, just fried rice. Pork fried rice is 3 dollars more per meal. I said for the little bits of pork I'll get, I'll stick with the plain fried rice. I pay for the meal, which was on par with a similar meal from any other Chinese restaurant, get out to the car, we open them up and we were so shocked we started laughing. Each one of us had like 8 tiny pieces of chicken. I truly should've taken a picture. You know when you get these from any other restaurant they are jam packed with food and you can't eat it all. Yep not here. Oh and the egg rolls were two of those tiny spring rolls you see in the buffet places. It was tasty but if you expect an average sized meal, you will be severely disappointed.
