Chapala Mexican Restaurant

About as good as it gets when it comes to Mexican food restaurants. Fresh basket of tortilla chips still hot from the fryer with salsa. I think the best chips and salsa I’ve had anywhere, of course it was free on the house. The place is open and airy, clean, nice music and lighting, it just has a great feel to it. Plenty of staff on hand, all tending to your needs. Employees are all genuinely happy and friendly with solid work ethic. You get the impression that they sincerely want to work hard and do a great job. Very refreshing in an American culture severely lacking in work ethic. Delicious food, very reasonable prices. We simply loved this place. They are worthy of more than 5 stars.

It was packed when we went in but their wasn't a wait, we got seated right away. They brought us menus then they came back right away with chips & salsa. Got our beverage order righ away. The place was very busy. We sat there for a good 15, 20 minutes waiting for our waiter to take our order. After our server took our order it wasn't long after that we got our food. Everyone was very attentive, always checking on tables, refilling drinks, & chips. The food was great & the staff were really nice. We'll go back there for sure.

The wait staff was very pleasant and helpful. The food was great! The only problem we had was we ordered two of the same meal and were served one with two plates. To be fair, they were big meals and we were being oinkers. We wanted some for leftovers and we had enough for another meal. They also have good coupons from the local Cub. Go you won't be disappointed!
