Granny Ma's Bubble Tea

Granny Ma's has a few decent options, including drinks that go beyond the run-of-the-mill bubble teas in cambridge I've had the passionfruit tea with boba, mango black tea, and milk tea with pearls. The passionfruit tea with boba was nice, and in particular because bobas that burst aren't that common in cambridge. The mango black tea tasted decent, and it had a few chewy bits but they were too few and far between. The milk tea was a little too sweet, and the pearls were hardened which was disappointing

Welcome back to R&H's crazy food reviews, This time we are going old school at Granny Ma's Bubble Tea. The prices were good, £3.50 for a regular and £4 for a large. Both were decently sized. Service was good and speedy. The bubble tea was solid and worth the price. However, a few minor gripes including bubbles popping before consumptions or the lacking suction ergonomics of the larger cup mean they just miss out on the 5 stars, but there's always time to improve before a return visit. Tried their bubble tea twice - jasmine green milk tea the first time and roasted oolong the second time. Their tea is really nice compared to other bubble tea branches in Cambridge, you can really taste the tea and its freshness. The only downside is that their pearls aren't chewy enough but they are still quite good. Their staff is really friendly too - he saw me putting my bubble tea into my bag and he offered to put an extra layer of seal so that the tea wouldn't burst, which was a very nice gesture! Would come back again and will recommend.
