I wouldn’t say we received a warm welcome but that said the gentleman behind the bar did accommodate us fo
Had lunch here today, what a hidden gem! It’s one of those places where the temptation is not to post a review so you can keep it to yourself, just of the A30 a proper village pub, a great welcome great food and a good selection of beer, looking forward to returning in the winter as I’m sure it will
Great little local pub. The drinks were lovely and so were the staff and customers at the bar. Very accommodating all round.
First thing tocsay is they don't take cards so remember your cash. Such a friendly and welcoming pub. We called up at the last minute for a table and they got us one in an hour. There is a carpark next to the pub which makes it easier. Good down to earth pub grub which is hot and well cooked. L
Serving two local ales which were well kept.
Nice food and drink available. Very helpful and very friendly staff 😀
Good pub food, dog friendly, people friendly, good selection of local beers. Next pub is quite a distance away so was pleased this one was so accommodating.

Really lovely little Pub with so much character. Great ales on offer and not overly priced. Could happily sit in this place outside or in all day. Food looked amazing for price but I didnt eat. Well worth a visit.
Lovely pub and full of lovely people in there... Beers not bad either !
Real oldschool pub for proper ‘pub people’, locals around the bar good chat; food is homely and delicious - biggest portion of scampi I have ever been served! Toilets are extremely clean, really nice. Thankyou
Great little village pub. Very welcoming with good food and beer.
Smashing local pub, friendly and cosy, great menu, Saturday lunch was superb, and very reasonably priced, will deffinatly be calling in again. Ps. Syrup sponge and custard was to die for, and gluten free.
