When I was in (a Sunday evening), it was quiet in the bar, but the restaurant was fully booked. I tried the chicken cajun tagliatelle. It's the first time I've seen it on a menu. I must admit, it was delicious. The warmth of the cajun spices, mixed with lots of chicken pieces, peppers, and onions. If you get a chance, try it

Popped in for lunch whilst exploring the area and thoroughly enjoyed it. Sat outside with the dogs looking over the harbour. The barman was excellent - really courteous and attentive. Food was a very good standard. Definitely recommend.

Nice and friendly. Standard beers and... Haggis Nachos! Well worth a try, even if you haven’t had haggis before. Gets a bit busy most nights, so get in early.

Very friendly and professional help from the barkeeper, ordered food, was warned that the portions were big, he wasn't lying. He forgot to say that the food was excellent, well done!

Great cosy authentic pub! I can absolutely recommend the Haggis Nachos - DUDE, those were tasty! They were the best Nachos I've ever had. Gotta try out those! Apart from that, good service and an actual coal fire in the fire place warming your back. It's a place to go in Campbeltown!

Great little pub attached to the Royal Hotel. Good food and staff are courteous and very friendly. Don't get Brian started on the theory of relativity though. Wish there was some real ales and IPAs

The staff were incredibly professional and friendly. If we didn't have 'insider knowledge' that they were understaffed and struggling, we would never have known!

Nice large bar on the harbour at Campbelltown. Good pub food, which can be enjoyed in either the bar or restaurant, nice selection of beers and whiskies.

Barman was a bit grumpy, food was typically pub grub and quite expensive for what it was but overall we enjoyed it.

Very pleasant, comfortable, friendly pub down by the harbour. Possibly part of the adjacent Royal Hotel?

Came across the Black Sheep on New Years day. It was really busy. The barman was friendly and really hard working. The locals were fabulous. We ate here and it was amazing. We loved it so much we returned the same evening.
