Rustic looking cafe fronting a small green space. Heaps of outdoor seating even in the pouring rain. Staff were friendly, service was fast. Coffee was ok if a little bitter. Bacon and egg roll was very generous, bacon was done just right. Was very busy when we visited, but they were coping very well.

Lovely and convenient spot to catchup over brekkie - but popular so book a table in. Bacon and egg burger and hash brown were perfect for the morning start, coffees spot on, and black forest smoothie was delicious

Cute little cafe and nice sitting area, however for the price we would expect larger portions. The hot chocolate was great but the coffee was on par with instant coffee. We each had eggs Benedict takeaway, (no cutlery available for takeaway) and it was a bit flavourless but overly salty.

The drinks (soy cap, almond cap and ice chocolate) were good but unfortunately the staff were very disinterested and at times unfriendly. My mum was having a conversation with the waiter and in the middle of it, he just walked away whilst she was still talking. We decided not to order any food as it just didn’t feel like a very good atmosphere after that. The staff definitely did not want to be there and it showed.

Very poor customer service. We have been regular customers over the years but have noticed a distinct decline in service in recent months.
Today I had ordered coffee and fruit toast. When my coffee eventually arrived it was cold and the fruit toast didn’t turn up at all. I mentioned this to two different wait staff but no one followed up. It’s such a shame because this has been such a great cafe in the past but luckily Kingston has many great alternatives to this cafe, so we won’t be coming back.

Our favourite place for breakfast each time we're in Canberra. The food is always fantastic, big generous portions and reasonably priced. Always super busy so strongly recommend going early or making a booking.

I didn't have a good experience unfortunately. Despite offering table service, the wait to get your order taken is long. I was told there would be a 20 minute wait for coffees. The muesli came out without milk. I had to chase down a waiter about this. We even had to wait for tap water because they ran out of glasses.
It is clear that they are understaffed.
Not all is lost however as the coffee and muffin were very good. If you must dine here, consider getting it to take away.

Went there today for coffee and a quick bite. We wanted to have two toasted sandwiches as there were a number made up in the window, but we were told they couldn’t toast it as they closing in 30 minutes. We arrived at 2:20 and they were advertised as closing at 3;00. Very disappointing customer service and we won’t be returning.
