This place is fantastic. Very fresh and delicious food and the staff are amazing. After being there only twice they remembered my order exactly and are very friendly. My new favourite place for lunch

Really nice little cafe with very friendly staffs, and seems to open the earliest in the area. The food items are great, especially the summer rolls.

Worst banh mi I have ever had. Not authentic at all. They couldn't even be bothered to tell me they had no more pate to give me a choice of changing sandwiches. INCORRECT mayo (using Praise mayo not authentic Vietnamese mayo! The horrid aftertaste took me 2 hours to get rid of). If you want a banh mi, go next door to the Vietnamese restaurant. All of Cafe 54's otherr sandwiches are fine, but they should stop making banh mi. I only had two bites and threw the rest in the bin. Waste of $8.50.

Come here everyday for lunch at work, they are so friendly and welcoming. The coffee is always strong and piping hot. The food is consistently incredibly fresh and tasty. 10/10

Nice little asian family run takeaway. Eaten here on a few occassions. It's not a big place inside, however, there are some tables to sit and eat if you get there before the lunchtime rush begins. Always get a friendly greeting and the food has always been very nice and very reasonably priced.
Definitely give it a try.

A good little cafe/takeaway on the west side of Civic. If you just want a normal sandwich, roast roll, burger etc or banh mi or rice paper rolls without all the hipster bumph and prices, this is the place. Friendly staff. $10 eftpos minimum.
