Great place to go!! Just watch your head as its an oldy world pub with low ceiling beams!! I'm 6 foot 2, and this never discourages me!! Excellent value on prices, and I'd highly recommend a visit! You would feel welcome with locals and staff alike, excellent place!

Lovely old world pub full of character with very friendly staff. Good selection of beers, wines and spirits. Very popular with the local residents, with bar games as an added bonus.

Lovely genuine local village pub. Dogs are welcome as long as they are well behaved. Good and simple collection of lagers, beers, ales and of course cider's. Friendly bar staff and welcoming owners. Very low ceilings, but to be expected due to it being a proper old style pub. Skittle lane, pool table, dart board and Sky Sports/BT Sports available. Happy to put on any game as requested. Good size beer garden, long and narrow. Pretty much south facing so wonderful in the summer months. Like I say, if you want a taste of Somerset country pubs, you won't go far wrong.

Having worked in pubs since the dawn of time, this little gem is essentially a mirror of a place with multiple angles. It really depends of what time of day you go and what frame of mind you are in. It can be the quintessential village pub, to a locals hub, to a place to hide away from the missus to a mini mad party atmosphere. It’s really up to you. The new landlord are proper salt of the earth and give the place a welcoming northern touch. The mid-day locals may be from the land that time forgot, but if you make the effort, they are welcoming, polite and damn right hilarious. This type of pub is a dying bread! Rare indeed. Catch a glimpse if you want the genuine article of what makes a British Pub.

Nice local pub with a friendly welcome. It's an old building so mind your head as you enter. Always a good choice of well kept/served drinks. Garden out the back is great in the summer, plenty of tables to sit at and enjoy the space. Parking very limited out front.

Need to stop buying the orange pound shots, nearly knocked a star off for that. Apart from that quite a pleasing establishment. Lovely. X
