Not as good as I was expecting, although a wonderful interior, tidy and clean, impressively friendly staff, great plates, lovely beer. I found out more of a place to take my girlfriend rather than to socialise with a friend or two.

I've been all over, to many different Indian Restaurants all over the country. And I cant stress enough how this is still my absolute favourite. The staff are incredibly helpful and welcoming. Food is excellent quality, generous portion and cooked to your liking. We went for my dads 70s birthday, the staff couldn't do enough for you.
Still the best in the country in my opinion. Thank you to the staff at the dilshad for making my father's evening a memorable and special one 💙

Ordered from here for the first time after deciding to use a different Indian to our usual. Both my partner and myself were very impressed with the standard, quality and portion size of the food. Will be using again. A small error was also quickly rectified. We ordered a small desert which was not delivered initially, however without the need to chase the restaurant the driver returned 10 minutes later with the desert. The total delivery time was perhaps a little longer than usual but we take a view that we don't mind waiting for good food...which we both agree was delicious.

A lovely restaurant serving Indian and a selection of English dishes. The food is excellent as is the service from all of the staff. I've been here twice now and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a very pleasant evening eating excellently prepared and presented food. You can also, if you wish, take in your own drinks.

Wonderful food and really friendly staff only complaint is we had to wait till we'd nearly finished our meal before our drinks arrived after asking three time. Give them credit though it was extremely busy. Would recommend anytime. Fabulous.

Not long been in the area and came across this place by accident, best accident to happen. We've now ordered from here twice. The food is delicious, best curry I've ever had. Hoping to go to the restaurant soon when they have one of their quiz nights, when you order you also get a free bottle of wine, a little added bonus! Would highly recommend to everyone.

I’ve known Tony (owner) for a long time. Recently took My Mrs & family, for a big celebration meal. They treated us fantastic. Even though it was busy, food and service was spot on! They treat You like friends. You won’t find a better Indian Restaurant in Staffordshire. I’m telling you now!

Booked a 10 seat table online. Super simple. Friendly service as always. Bought cake out with lite candles for birthday and gave us a free flaming shot for the birthday boy.
You can bring your own alcohol but they do serve it as well.

Our first tine. Beautiful food and very friendly service. The owner, Tony, came over to welcome us. Nice touch. I liked that. We went on the Sunday night, so 5 courses for £10.95. Great value. Lots of food and delicious and very nice surroundings too.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is some of the best Indian food I have ever had.we nearly always have a dilshad every Friday night and when we are not eating take outs (never had a cold take out, always piping hot), we are in the restaraunt eating in.
I recommend it to anyone wanting Indian food

Went for my daughters 21st on Tuesday night. Friendly staff and outstanding service. However, I was very disappointed with the chicken tilka M 7 out of 18 customers had it and all left it. TBH I can never eat all mine and usually take it home. I wasn't taking that home. I feel something was missing in the dish. My parents were very happy they had steak. I was just disappointed as it was a large booking and we wasn't offered an alternative. I've had this meal before there and it didn't taste like that. Wouldn't recommend chicken TIKKA M

Came here Tuesday night.. service was great but the food wasn't great! Chicken tikka masala taste like bland Bolognese... no spice in it at all!

Awful experience here, despite telling staff multiple times we had a gourmet society card - which enabled us to have 2 for 1 meals - at the time of booking, when we turned up and when we ordered, we were told this was not available when we came to pay. Really disappointing. If a restaurant signs up to something like gourmet society you expect them to uphold the offers available on the website. Will be informing gourmet society that they are not playing by the rules. Will not be revisiting.

A couple of unfriendly staff. Slow service and was in the restaurant 3 hours. Food was okay! Oh yh and watched me struggle with my push chair!

Waited 2 hours and 10 mins for a takeaway, was told by the staff that it was on it way after a 1 hour 15 mins of ordering and had to wait another hour before it came. The food was freezing cold, disgusting really being told 4 times it was on its way I live 10 mins away. Pay good money for food which is cold and having to wait over 2 hours appalling.
