We visited Patisserie Valerie for the first time ever today after being gifted a voucher for an afternoon tea for 2. The food was so delicious and we were both so impressed. The place was quite busy and there were only 2 staff members holding down the Fort when we arrived but even though they were both so busy, Daniel still helped to take our order and took time to check if any of the products on the afternoon tea contained hazelnuts as I am allergic. I have to commend the staff and their manager for their hard work and professionalism despite being so busy and having several customers asking for various things during their visit. We will definitely be coming back to Patisserie Valerie soon!
Had a lovely afternoon tea with my husband. We don't get much alone time as we both work and have two daughters. The food was lovely, service so relaxed and friendly and I want to give a big shout out to Charlie, Robbie and KC for the giggles. The chef made a beautiful afternoon tea with warm scones, yummy sandwiches, and the cakes we got to take home went down well with the girls. Great value for money you can't go wrong. Xx
So, my husband and I had an afternoon tea voucher bought for us by our daughter which we used today. I don't usually leave reviews but the service we had today was 1st class from the minute we walked in until the minute we left. Both Razika and Robbie were polite, friendly and attentive. The afternoon tea itself was lovely with copious amounts of tea. There was plenty of food for two, in fact we had to bring some home with us. If you are thinking of doing afternoon tea in Canterbury choose Patisserie Valerie, you won't be disappointed. Well done to all the team and thank you for a wonderful experience. We wouldn't hesitate to return.
My partner and I visited recently and were very impressed with the service we received. Emery was so helpful and friendly and really enhanced our experience. His colleague Kacey was also extremely pleasant. We had a cream tea and it was delicious. Overall, it was a great experience, but the most notable part was Emery's top-tier service and kindness.
Me and my Dad came here today, for Afternoon Tea for two, as I had been given a gift voucher from a friend of mine. The young lady who served us , ( I now wish I had found out her name, ) was lovely, friendly, polite, and very helpful .Can't praise her enough. The food, especially the cakes were delicious. Highly recommend
What a lovley place. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. We had a pot of tea and cake. Really yummy
This was a nice bakery to visit in-between sightseeing. We enjoyed hot chocolate, espresso, cappuccino, and tea as well as the nice pies, cakes and other sweet goodies. It is centrally located on the main street so it was busy and full. We ould do some people watching from our seats near the big windows! The selection of sweets were expansive and it was difficult to choose just one thing!!
My friend and I love Patisserie Valerie, their cakes are divine, we always have afternoon tea and cake when in Canterbury, it will be so sad when they close.
It appears that they are not on the list of patisseries to close and are to remain open.
Looking forward to my next visit.
This place is amazing. Had the afternoon tea and refillable coffees. The service was exceptional, the food was out of this world and the setting was just glorious. Can't wait to go back and eat here again.
Food was very good but unfortunately had a long wait for it as they were busy with a lot of people wanting cream teas.
