An amazing place to enjoy reading. Several floors where you can find any kind of books. Remember to use the reading areas at the little coffee places of the bookstore and make reading an even more enjoyable experience!

We have been coming to Waterstones since I was a toddler and it was always my favourite place. There are loads of places to sit and I usually bring my laptop to do some work. There is a large selection of cakes, drinks and also books (obviously). The staff are friendly and helpful. The only thing that I could note is that the quality of the toilets has deteriorated over the years...

My son and I love Canterbury Waterstones. Spread over three floors, it has a relaxing atmosphere with a cafe on the 2nd floor and a cosy nook with a playable chess set on the 3rd. There is an elevator so it's accessible to all. The staff in the children's department are always really friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. It also hosts fantastic author events which are really worth a visit. The wall signed by famous authors is a lot of fun too.

This bookshop is amazing! One can easily spend hours here. If you fancy a game of chess, there are a few sets to play on. I can highly recommend visiting this store.

Lilly wrote the best manga reviews! Surprisingly accurate and funny. I fancy shorter descriptions, so they were right on spot. Will definitely wait to see more!

Great place to go with kids. They have 2 wooden rocking horses. And nice coffee aside with lovely cakes. And great books.

Amazing selection, three floors, area for children to play and cafe. I ordered some books to pick up, it arrived quickly and the lady at the till was very nice and polite. Be aware that there's no phone signal in the store, so I wasn't able to ask questions on a whatsapp group for a book that we needed to buy as gift. I had to go near the entrance or a window to get signal, and I found quite annoying.

It's a great bookstore with multiple floors and clearly labelled sections. I can never find what I need here, though, which is unfortunate, but I do always pick up a book or two that catch my eye

Never been here before. If you like books this is the place. How massive is this shop. Even a coffee shop. It has local gifts. I will definitely return.

What a lovely Waterstones this one is. Has a lovely coffee with lovely company. Even had a sneaky cinnamon roll. Both floors filled with books (what a surprise!! 😃) sections laid out clearly with signs..

This is a lovely shop for book lovers, my husband and I always leave with at least a couple of books each. It has easy wheelchair access and a good sized lift to get up to the 2 other 2 levels. There is also a small cafe upstairs. The staff are really helpful, not just in answering questions, but in pleasant conversation too. Can't comment on access to the toilets as not had to use them for a long time but can't remember any problems. You could always ring and ask in advance. A great shop to visit in Canterbury.

The greatest Waterstones of them all in my biased opinion. Three floors filled with books and healthy sized sections in all areas. The cafe serves good drinks and on the top floor at the back is the signatures of all the authors that have done a talk there which is fun to look at.

A very good bookstore, backed up by a good website. Nice cafe upstairs, which is ideal for reviewing your current or future purchases. Cafe is open from 10:00 during the week, 9:00 on Saturday, and 9:30 on Sunday.
