This place is so nice. The staff have always been friendly and helpful with any questions I’ve had, the food is always delicious, and the hot drinks are yum. I got the smashed avocado with poached egg on toast, and it’s always perfect, with a lovely hot chocolate. It’s a filling meal and I got these two items for under £10. Would highly recommend :)
My wife and I like pop in and have some tommato and basil soup and a bread roll which we think is one of the best around.

Outside tables may still be very wobbly as they aren't designed to be used outside on the current outside area.
Came on Monday. No hot food or hot drinks available. Not sure why they didn't explain. Young waitress was also not friendly and didn't even speak when bringing our order. Usually don't have these problems
Great location, good food and excellent staff. My only slight criticism is the constant ‘party music’ being aired. A bit of variation would be appreciated; some classical music maybe, 60’s lounge music, early jazz, psychedelic pop...there is a whole world of music to choose from.
Went for a hot chocolate today in the M&S cafe and was served by a very friendly well mannered staff called Jay who had amazing customer service and made the hot chocolate to the best quality ever , very impressed by the quality of the drinks would 100% use M&S cafe through Jay.

They are 2 cafes, the main cafe downstairs and the second cafe is inside the shop on a different floor.

Lots of indoor and outdoor seating for a quick snack or drink. Does seem busy, both inside and outside. Menu is simple, using M&S Foodhall products, whilst also offering a great range of hot drinks.
The barista is on hand to help choose the right coffee too.
Fabulous place to stop for lunch and a coffee. The staff are fantastic and very helpful. Will certainly go back again.
