Xocolatl

Really love the five star quality and range of the chocolates here, as well as the exclusive gourmet flavours. I was surprised that the sparkly chocolate they had was a chilli chocolate but being called Peanut Butter Sizzle, I should have twigged! I'm particularly fond of the Christos (dark hazelnut praline). They have operated under a Fair Trade model since 2011 and they source Fair Trade Certified Belgian Couverture. The chocolates are expensive, but it is worth paying the price to support the Fair Trade supply chain model, local business and employment and of course to treat someone special. Their warm beverages are excellent too. The orange chocolate is divine!

Do not recommend at all! Not clean, the water jugs had insects inside and the staff couldn’t be bothered washing the jug and instead used a spoon to pull out the dead insects. On top of that, they were rude and had no customer service skills. The chocolate itself is nothing special. Nothing to brag about.

If you are after amazing chocolate this is the place to go! So many wonderful flavors with great names you won’t actually be able to decide what you want... It was also a really good thick fruit toast! I didn’t have the iced chocolates but they looked amazing and will definitely be ordering that next time!
