Always make a point of visiting here when on the Broards.
First time we have eaten here .. definitely won't be the last. Very tasty and good sized portions and not extortionate in price
Thank you and compliments to the chef

Wow just had a lunch here. Fabulous food. Really nice service and excellent value for money. About to book a monthly meal
Can definitely recommend the chicken goujens here.a very hearty and delicious meal.
Great pub with good ales and an amazing sports room. Shows all the sport you could want in Tv and great quiz on Thursday nights
Have just put The Reedcutters on the Campingpubs FB page, as discussed with Lynne the other week for overnight stops for motor homes/camper vans - if you don't want it on there let me know and I will remove it :)
Now in new hands and 100% better for it. Fantastically friendly hosts, excellent food and the beer festival was superb. The village locals need to support this excellent new endeavour.
Great food and company!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for a very enjoyable evening and thank you lynne for the lovely food
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Food was extremely good value for the quality and generous portions, and did have vegan options. Unfortunately the place smelt of cigarette smoke and the interior was somewhat run down. Friendly but eccentric locals at the place!
Absolutely love this place! We always make it stop on our broads holidays. Always warm and cosy and a great selection of real ales. Staff always offer a warm welcome and the dogs are welcome in there too! If you’re looking for fine dining, then you won’t find it here. This is traditional pub grub and it’s excellent! Great selection and huge portion sizes. Prices are good too! Just what you want on a cold night! I’m sure there are prettier places on the broads but when you’re inside, supping a pint with friends, who cares! One of those pubs you can relax in. Not pretentious, not posh, just a nice place to be. Would 100% recommend!
A classic pub with big portions of normal pub food and a nice selection of ales on tap.
The setting is nice, but not quite beautiful. It's right on the Broads which is really pretty, but unfortunately it's shadowed by a big ugly sugar factory.
The building itself is nice and the decor inside is cosy and warm enough. It's a little old and worn but I think that adds to its character.
The food was cracking. They did a whole selection of normal pub grub (see picture of the menu on this review) and the portion sizes were pretty massive. We were all absolutely stuffed after finishing, but all said the meals were done very well. On the day we went there was duck and steak as specials, and both were really well done indeed!
The owners were there playing pool, there were some classic pinball machines, loads of free moorings, and I believe it's B&B also. It's tidal to around 0.5m here.
Proper old fashioned pub by river ,had slow cooked pork belly with 5 different vegetables although 7 was available, homemade mash, superb and massive 9.8 out of 10 simply because no apple sauce . Wife had gammon ham eggs and beans proper thick cuts . highly recommend.
Ate here twice last weekend. Good food, lovely service by the young staff (really looked after us oldies). We were meant to get our own cutlery and lovely young man said stay where you and got it for us. Can recommend katsu curry and the pie.
Staying here while sutiated for work and to be honest what a place warm welcoming top notch service. If your looking for a real value for money in the way of quality and quantity with a friendly atmosphere this is the hidden gem . And the comfortable rooms speak for themselves. The owners are out of this world helpful and welcoming in every aspect of their lives and successful business. And a good insight for staff that actually care about the customer.
Lovely food as always. Nice big woodburner, cosy and warm place to have a decent pint in good company. Cheers Guys see you again very soon.
Nice pub on the broads. Great to sit with a pint and watch sunsets, boats, and wildlife. Seen otters, seals, herons, owls, plus all the day to day critters.
Nice pub with a good selection of drinks located in a great location.
Been going here for a few years now after doing some water skiing at Cantley, and with the slipway next door its very convenient! Lovely to sit outside during peak summer and enjoy a nice cold San Miguel as the sun goes down. Highly Recommended! My only flaw would be the sitting out round the back needs some updating in my opinion. But this doesn't effect the overall experience. Will be back there in the near future 👍
Moored here one lunchtime whilst sailing (how posh!). Had a couple of drinks and the ploughman's lunch. The food was tasty and the pub was not stingy with the quantity. A great pub if you are out for the day. The staff we met were helpful and courteous. I will happily eat and drink here again.
Able to have the dog with us at all times.
Very friendly and welcoming Staying 3 nights
Great pub. Home cooked cheap food with lots of it. Maldon ales and good selection of cider and gin. Friendly place
Good home cooked food, reasonably priced. Nice cosy atmosphere
It does what it says on the tin. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was good pub fare that & the drinks were very reasonable. We had a lovely meal and moored here overnight. 😊
Great location, we were planning to moor at the Hardley drainage mill but it was full by the time we got there. Decided to stop here so we could make use of the electricity, as the BA moorings a bit further along haven't got power.
Had a couple of drinks and moored up here for the evening, lovely friendly staff who helped us get sorted with an electricity card and whatnot.
I had a bit of an accident outside (totally my own fault, fell over and badly broke my wrist, completely sober I should add!!) and the staff were incredibly helpful in making sure I was taken care of and that our boat was looked after until we were able to get back from the hospital. Really appreciated their kindness! Thanks folks!
Lovely place. Food and owners are amazing.....
Unassuming and understated..BUT recommend you stop here. FOOD between 12 and 3 then 6 till 9pm. Great value for Money.
We were the only people there so it was rather quiet...but peaceful too.
It feels a bit run down.
Lovely drive to get there...and so interesting to see the Cantley Sugar Mill right next door
Warm welcome for us and our dog. Some real ales and good food. Lovely views and walks from the pub.
