Visited here based on tripadvisor reviews and I wasn't disappointed. Food superb, service great. Had the paella, watermelon and goats cheese salad, sardines and tempura brocoli. It was all beautifully cooked. Chocolate brownie and Eton mess to finish. So good. If you are around this way you should stop by.

We ordered food to takeaway and the food was amazing! It was ready to collect in 30 mins and was so tasty and fresh. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Love this place , really lovely food and authentic dishes with service to match. Not a huge mass produced menu , so reassuring no microwaving here. It can be hard to get a table at popular times throughout the year , booking a must as your highly unlikely to get a walk in table. I cant recommend a particular dish as they are all amazing. Really good for an occasion meal or romantic night out .

We booked about an hour prior to our visit with ease through the online system, My Moroccan spiced chicken skewer with sliced potatoes in a sauce (can’t remember the name) was absolutely superb (highly recommend), the misses had a pizza that was nice but was a little disappointed as it lacked in the tomato sauce on it. The place itself was awesome, it really felt like I was abroad and the staff were great. I would 100% visit again if I’m ever in that area again

Wanted to get in here when on holiday in 2021 and couldn't get booked up. Can see why now! Food was outstanding. Tapas portions were so much bigger than up in Newcastle! Gorgeous restaurant inside too, staff lovely and friendly too. Will definitely come back again if in the area. Simply....Top of the Pops!

We were soooooooo looking forward to eating here.. My wife and I were celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary ... The restaurant looked great and the staff were friendly and accommodating.. The starters were superb! both enjoyed it, leaving us excited for the main course... We both ordered off the specials menu *Mixed Paella* ... advertised was *Monk Fish, Chicken, Chorizo, King Prawns and Muscles.... 4 of the Muscles were partly closed so we didn't eat them, there were absolutely NO Monk Fish in either my wifes or my own portion... There was a huge long hair which i pulled out of my mouth and left on the side of my plate, but worse of all... The rice was similar to that of Uncle Bens / Batchlers 2mins Microwave rice - Wasn't proper Paella rice which we have experienced many times in the past when visiting Spain on our family holidays... At the end of the meal when asked " Did we enjoy the meal?? " We expressed our feelings about the mains dish and were told... "Well, it's a Spanish Chef that's cooked it". I didn't mention the long hair or the closed muscles which were left in plain view on the side of the dish... Instead I paid £90 for starters + mains and left La Casita feeling disappointed and underwhelmed. For the cost of the Paella ( £38 ) for the 2 of us to share, we felt it should have been much better.

Food was average and the calamari portion was pethetic concidering we paid for 2 as a main. It was so busy we waited up to 30mins for drinks. Not enough staff on for big parties. Wouldnt come again. So dissapointed.

Last night out for our family break away in carbis bay. So pleased we picked this restaurant to end our fab time away. They made us feel very welcome, food was yummy (monk fish curry to die for!) & they made our sons eve by bringing out his pud with a sparkler in it , as they had overheard it was his 8th birthday. A lovely touch. See you all again at Easter break, we will definitely be returning for another tasty meal. thank you
