Excellent food and drink. The cakes are homemade and delicious. The service was efficient and friendly.
This family run Italian cafe and deli is a true gem and worth making a special trip to North Cardiff for but if you live in the area a weekly breakfast/brunch/lunch pilgrimage is a must. They have a huge variety of loose teas and a number of single estate organic coffees with which you get a number of milk options. You can have any of the cake/croissant/pastry options or choose from the soup, panini and salad menu. All the ingredients are fresh and the ciabatta bread is light and crisp and perfect. In addition there are huge stacks of panettones priced from £2.40 to £25 and a range of olive oils, vinegars, pesto, cheeses and other potentially brilliant Christmas presents. The service was also perfect. The layout suits families, couples and lone eaters using their laptops! Lucky North Cardiff and I’m so glad my daughter now lives down the road from Organicafe.
Greeted at the door ,nice comfy seat, extremely clean and tidy, coffee brought to my table.Nice cup of coffee.Free wi-fi.
I have visited Organi Cafe since it opened and it is amazing to see how much the cafe has grown and flourished over the years. It is one of my favourite places to eat and drink in Cardiff and I always visit with my parents, as they too love it here. The staff now know us well and we are always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome.
The food is fantastic! The cheeses, meats, salads and breads are always fresh. The desserts are superb and the tiramisu is the best, as all desserts are homemade.
They also do platters of cheeses and meats, which are great if you fancy sharing.
The hot and cold drinks are great too, a wide range selection of hot and cold drinks, also some options available for vegans.
All produce in Organi are all organic and Italian, which you can really tell. Organi also sell pastas, which I purchase whenever I go there and the pasta is very high quality. It is super tasty and great with a pasta sauce, either homemade or bought from the cafe. Inside the cafe, there are other organic Italian products available to purchase.
If you're visiting Cardiff or living here and looking to try a local family owned cafe, definitely visit Organi Cafe. The buses run regularly right near the cafe, you just need to take a bus 27 or X8.
It's so nice to see a local family owned business being so popular :)
(It is also dog friendly too)
Extremely friendly and welcoming staff and a laid back atmosphere. Had a lovely coffee and toastie, who h was well priced. Will definitely be going back and trying more of the menu!
One of the best coffee houses in Cardiff.
The restaurant is owned / run by an Italian family and the coffee is superb.
We have not eaten a full main course however the deserts are to die for.
The Main Courses look great too so maybe next time :-)
Literally everything about Organicafe was wonderful: friendly, welcoming and helpful staff, a delicious Italian salad and THE best hot chocolate. This was my first visit but I'll be back!
if you haven't yet experienced Organicafe get a move on! Fantastic coffee and out of this world super tasty panini's. The deli counter is sooo tempting, my husband had to drag me away. A lovely place to relax.
My wife needed a boost after being hospital for a while. We both had caprese with a beefy tomato and a large mozzarella, crisp artesanal bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. It was great, so refreshing after the wholesome but less exciting hospital food. We took pieces of cake home to enjoy later. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there is a good choice of meals and drinks, quite roomy, too. We'll be back.
Absolutely stunning coffee and cake. Lovely atmosphere and obviously run by people who want you to have great relaxing experience. Love this cafe!
If you want a great cup of coffee in a relaxed and calm atmosphere, this is the place for you. You can have a choice of blends and of course, if you find one you like, you can buy some to go home.
Great coffee, great food and excellent service with a deli thrown in for good measure. The Italian influence gives the essence of the establishment.
I found this place to be very plastic and the staff unfriendly. When I complained they accused me of being drunk. I only had a few gins before going there.
This is a great little place. Their paninis have different but delicious fillings, the cakes seem to be genuine Italian delicacies and are again delicious, coffees always hot and served in a generous cup. You'll get a friendly welcome from the staff and pleasant surroundings to enjoy your break and if you've loved your coffee you can buy it to take home along with other yummy things.
Charming little cafe that has way more space at the rear than first appears. Quality coffee and cafe menu food. Italian influences. There is even an outdoor space.
We came to Cardiff for the weekend from Bristol and saw this was a top place to go from the reviews.
Everything was amazing, the atmosphere was lovely and the staff were very welcoming, we had a meat platter and a cheese platter to share which were both so flavoursome and reminded us of the top quality food we eat when we see our family in Italy!
The cakes we had after were gorgeous too, their award winning ricotta and amaretti tart was exceptional, and the service was excellent and attentive. We will come back to Cardiff just to come here!!
This cafe is one if the best in Cardiff. The coffee is amazing and the cakes/pastries are too. Especially the tirimasu on a Thursday and Friday. The people are so polite, and welcoming everytime I go there. There are no bad points at all.
Visited here after looking for a mid afternoon coffee and snack. What a find. The coffee is delicious and the food is very fresh. The owners are lovely, down to earth and work very hard. Will certainly be recommending.
We called round on our way home
Great Parma and mozzarella salad
Followed by Chocolate cake and coffee
Will definitely be returning
Lovely cafe with friendly staff. Great coffee and cake. Amazing deli with all organic produce. No wonder they've won the Welsh Italian awards twice!
