Madame Fromage - Cardiff - Photo album

So after visiting Paris last month, wanted a gentle reminder of France and visited Madame Fromage with my partner. The place is brilliantly set out in a old Victorian arcade with plenty of seating, but be prepared to wait during busy times... it’s worth the wait tho! Highly recommended and have be
Visiting from the US: Big cheese 🧀 fan here! Clean place, nice staff. We didn’t have to wait to be seated. Excellent customer service. The Walsh rabbit was absolutely delicious. Had a cheese sampler to try... and was not disappointed.... sticky taffy cheddar cheese is my new favorite 🤤
One of the best lunches I've had in the U.K. The portions were large and reasonably priced and there was a good deli variety on the menu. My partner had the cawl (he's very particular about his food) and loved it! I had the Goats cheese/pesto tartlet. Came with a large colourful tasty side salad an
Awesome lunch at Madame Fromage in Castle Arcade Cardiff. Photos are of the Blue Cheese & Bacon tartlet with salad & 2 types of fresh bread + I had the best meat Lasagne I've had in years with uber fresh garlic bread ❤️ Neither of us could finish our dishes, but they were happy for us to doggie bag
Cute little cheese cafe with great service and amazing food. Welsh rarebit soooo yum!! We also got the Welsh lamb cowl and sweet potato soup (both specials of the day). Safe to say there were no leftovers!
The deli was very pretty with amazing section of of Welsh and French cheeses. Service was great. They were very cooperative towards our preferences in regards to cheese boards. Also, amazing value. For the quality and the size of those platters, they are very cheap.
Took a few friends here to introduce them to some Welsh dishes. The Rarebit was very good and filling. Loads of craft beers available in the fridge. Welsh cheeses and tasty treats also available. Staff are friendly and attentive. Popular spot so you’ll probably have to queue on the weekends.
Fantastic selection of cheeses that varies depending on the month. Guys here are also very knowledgeable. Ideal for lunch as they give good sized portions for reasonable prices. If you are lucky you also might be able to get yourself on one of their Cheese and Wine tasting nights, which are superb.
This is a restaurant that lives up to its reputation! We had the special Cawl made with lamb which came with a side of garlic bread. Was delicious. The Welsh Rarebit is also worth trying. The staff was also patient and friendly. Its not very big inside with some seats in the arcade.
Homely, fuss-free food set in a beautiful arcade! We were lucky to get a table on a busy rugby weekend. We ordered the Traditional Welsh rarebit and Welsh Lamb Cawl - both were simply delicious and the serving size was generous :) The service was great and the food came in a reasonable timeframe. Ma
