I enjoy spending my time here during the mornings as it's not too busy and like to study/ have my alone time. It's a great place, and they offer breakfast and dessert, and there are pastry sections. I've been a few times it's kind of my go-to spot. Their egg tarts have custard, which I don't like, but they have a variety of options. I really enjoyed their rich tea cake. However, it was very sweet. Last I bought a lemon cheese cake with an iced latte it was very milky (those who like that flavour will enjoy it) which I didn't exactly love but it's always great to try new things.
My wife and I came across them today. We loved all the cakes. The pastel which came with our coffee, the coffee biscuit cake, the shortbread biscuit along with the Brazilian Guava drink. The shortbread tasted lovely and tasted like it was handmade and was not produced in a factory. The pastel cake was cooked perfectly and tasted really good. The coffee biscuit cake my wife had more of it, but she loved the cake and it was soft. You can tell the coffee was made with love with the pictures below. It's reasonably priced and very close to castle. Worth a visit if in the centre of Cardiff

I've loved these guys from the early days, Natas are the best you can get. Love the original but sometimes you're in the mood for peanut butter or Nutella.
They have loads of other good baked items, especially breads and croquettes.
Decent coffee and always a friendly service
Nice break at Nata & Co Bakery. Enjoyed a nice cup of coffee and delicious pastries. Staff members were accommodating as well.
A Portuguese corner in the very centre of Cardiff. What a delight it was to drink a Portuguese coffee with a pastel de nata. And be able to chit chat in Portuguese with the very nice staff.
Bought Portuguese tart, ham and cheese pastry, tart and plain croissant. The first 2 taste great, and not used to brioche type croissant. Overall food and service are good.
Absolutely amazing!! As a Portuguese person who lives in Wales, this is the best café to eat my country’s food from time to time. Even if you are not Portuguese, please, give it a try! There are a variety of foods, the employees are so kind and helpful, and the environment is gorgeous, warm and comfortable. It feels just like home.
they have portuguese and brazilian baked goods which taste good. I also liked the brazilian drinks.
We popped in here on a whim passing by. It was fairly quiet but the pastries looked great. The staff were friendly and service was quick. We didnt know this was a Portuguese cafe and we were pleasently suprised at the quality and taste of the food. Great place and we would certainly visit again.
I am always impressed of the quality of the cakes, they always fresh and the coffee blend really good.
Today i was impressed with their creme brulée coffee. If you like something sweet is definitely a go go.
Delicious egg tart, as good as I had in Macau. Coffee hit the spot. The egg & ham bake was ok, a little flat. Service friendly.

The pastel de nata were delicious, it was the first time we've had them and we weren't disappointed.
The very best pastel de Nata I've ever had in my life !!! So~soft & delicious !! A lady worked there was super thoughtful ! I forgot my phone at another Cafe right before I visited there & so, I left to go back to grab my phone ! When I came back ,I realized she put a saucer on my cup of tea as a lid so that it'd stay hot !! Super nice !! I bought 3 more pieces of pastel de nata to takeaway, too ! Apple pastry was very delicious as well ! No wonder they are so popular !! I highly recommend this place to everyone !! A MUST VISIT !!!
