Not many breakfast options (I really suggest to add some locally specific items) but food quality is guaranteed. Love their hash browns and pastries!

Best steak I've ever had. Also, that is a "$5" shake that I ordered ironically since it's listed as £8 on the menu and full of alcohol. It was very very good. But definitely not a "shake as I'd define it.

Have attended two afternoon teas here, both have been lovely. Only complaint is that it does contain a lot of sweet/cake and not many savoury items

Although we only had breakfast in the hotel the choice available and the quality was first class. The service was quick and the staff pleasant and nothing was too much bother. Will certainly be returning

Prosecco brunch was a brilliant experience. First class food and the waiters/waitresses made sure our glasses were topped up. Even on an extremely busy Saturday customer service was outstanding. Will definitely visit again.

I recently ate here with my girlfriend and her family to celebrate her graduation from Cardiff University. I was a little dubious at first being able to book a table for 7 plus a toddler last minute given that the restaurants in Cardiff had been booked up for weeks for this day.
My trepidation was unfounded. The food was fantastic. The service attentive and kind. They were fantastic with our toddling party and nothing seemed to be a problem.
The food was well flavoured and sumptuous. One of our party remarked they had the best Mussels they'd ever had. The lamb shank is a definite yes and the table fell silent when eating, a fundamental sign of any good meal.
Negative: The wine could be a little cheaper but can't it always.
I will definately be returning to Greys

Amazing service, especially by Costa! Absolutely lovely brunch. The menu has lots of choice and the food was very good. The afternoon tea also looked very nice.

This restaurant is attached the the Cardiff Hilton so the prices are geared towards those staying at the hotel. I ate here two nights in a row, the first was steak which was good by British standards (although doesn't compare to an Omaha steak for example) and the second was the lobster club which was really epic, maybe the best thing I have eaten in a restaurant in the U.K.

Very surprised for a Hilton hotel. Menu was very basic. Burgers, salad, pasta and off the grill. Hilton is an up market hotel and you would expect up market dining. Staff were efficient and attentive. Wine list was average, I have seen more extensive wine lists in pubs. The food was generous servings but it was nothing to rave about. I am so sure that there are better dining options in Cardiff.

It’s rare that I start a dining experience with a history lesson. Although a couple of weeks ago it appeared that geology was on the timetable; and a few months back…chemistry. So to be fair if nothing else, this food blog appears to be determined to reinforce my secondary education…oh joy!
