Went in on a Saturday morning. You can find a vegetarian breakfast in many cafes these days but it's a bit more difficult if you want a vegan one. Service was quick and professional and the food was good and reasonably priced. Portion size was about right for my liking (i.e. not a massive plate of unhealthy stodge) and the coffee was more than decent.

This is a lovely little place. Does good selection of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free breakfasts. Fresh juice good, coffee good. My American-style hash browns were a little anaemic, undercooked and under-loved, but I'm a hard diner to please, eggs were very well cooked though.

Great variety of choice for veggie/vegan breakfast. (No meat served here).
The salad bowls are healthy, generous and filling. Also serve hot breakfast with eggs. The fresh juice is served in a small jar, very tasty.
Plenty of staff on duty (more than the massive Cosy Club round the corner!) - clearly well run 😊

I haven't been to crumbs for about five years, as I don't go into town much. However the quality and taste of their mixed salad is, to be fair, legendary. I don't know for sure, but suspect that the mixed salad alone has made Crumbs a bit of an institution. It's great to know it hasn't changed since the last time I visited this cafe.
Add peanuts and a dollop of their mayo based dressing for a filling bowl of goodness.
The only downside I can think of is that their food hygeine rating is three stars, which is pretty shoddy.

What fantastic, fresh food! Large salad bowl, homemade quiche. My son had jacket potato with vegetable curry. Really tasty, highly recommended!

delicious homey food, generous portions, the outdoor seating is actually indoor, and is dog friendly

We had salad bowls with 6 toppings how ever I couldn’t have 1 of the toppings (rice) as it has nuts in it. I feel that it would be better and safer to remove the nuts and have them in a separate bowl as another topping. Also I wouldn’t say it’s wheelchair accessible.(space to move)

We were recommended this charming cafe and I will be doing the same. I had a delicious jacket potato with tuna and salad, followed by a white chocolate and raspberry cake plus a pot of tea. Friendly service and a delightful atmosphere make this a definite respite from shopping!

Loved that the cafe was located at the side alley in the centre and had 3 floors with lovely seating. Staff were friendly and helpful explaining about the menu. 4 stars as they forgot some of our order till we mentioned it but quickly corrected it with apologies.

Excellent cafe with additional upstairs seating. Very fairly priced and good, healthy lunches available. I had the standard salad bowl (which was a selection of fresh salad bits) for about 5.50, was a very good portion and not the kind of small salads places can serve. Also sells coffees and fresh juices/smoothies
Improvements I would make would be making the entrance wider to be more accessible and, also, make it clear how ordering works (no menus available, got to pay first then take it to a table/takeaway)

Lovely little cafe serving fresh, tasty homemade food.
The smashed avocado on granary bread was delicious!

I love crumbs, it is a great place to eat in and take away on the way through the arcade to my next stop. The salads are always fresh, with a lovely homemade coleslaw not found elsewhere. I love to sit upstairs near the window and watch people go by down in the arcade, relaxing.

Beautiful spot with a quaint seating area upstairs. Highly recommend for healthy and nutritious food 💪🏼 🌱

Nice coffee, and impressively all the cakes were suitable for vegans. Pleasant enough atmosphere but a little cramped by the entrance as the tables and counter are near the door. Upstairs seating but I didn't check it out. Quite a busy place with a queue out the door!

Surprised to see no love for Crumbs on here! There was a fair amount of hype regarding this salad bar with its veg/vegan USP. I had the 3 beans and rice with cheese which is fair to say, did not blow my mind. I've had similar Mexican in plenty of restaurants, markets. Fares in the middle rung. Frosty service to boot.
