Always have food here on internationals and it is always superb especially considering it is so busy. Great hosts and staff in the restaurant too. Thanks to them.
Coming from a ‘foodie’ family, I am always keen to introduce restaurants that I have previously enjoyed dining at, to other members of the clan. Therefore, when I got the heads up that the choice for dining on Mothers Day was my shout this year, my thoughts returned to an amazing meal I had experienced a few years back in the Laguna Kitchen and Bar…job done and reservation made…
...the food was excellent and there were other dishes on the menu that I would like to try. I would, however, tend to stick to a Friday or Saturday night, as the atmosphere in the restaurant and in the bar outside definitely added to the experience. I could imagine that on a week night, when perhaps there are a lot of residents dining, perhaps alone, the large and impersonal nature of the restaura
restaurant was absolutely beautiful, lighting was perfect, temperature was perfect. was sat next to a window with a lovely back drop of beautiful plants. bread starter was very tasty, sirloin was cooked perfectly and the dessert sharer was lovely. very good food for the price and our waiter, anthony was lovely and attentive and had great banter. he made the visit even more pleasant.
both my partner and i are autistic and we felt very comfortable at the restaurant. very accessible for wheelchair users and those with mobility issues. music was perfect volume and background noise was not overwhelming
We had the afternoon tea as part of the Relax Spa Experience package. The staff were fantastic - we all had different dietary requirements (regular, dairy free and vegan) and they were very helpful and considerate in preparing the food. The little hot food selection and sandwiches were fantastic, and both the dairy free and vegan substitutes were delicious. The freshly baked scone was everybody's favourite. The dairy free and vegan dessert plates were disappointing though, we didn't end up eating any of them. Lovely choice of teas to choose from and the dining room is very well presented. Decently priced and a fun experience.
Great experience and excellent service. 1st time I have been here and it was excellent. The service was very good and well worth a visit. The food was wonderful and a good range of tea's and coffee. Very reasonable price for the quality of food and the service.
Had a later dinner, and there weren’t many customers. Staff certainly are tentative and friendly. Food are tasty and have good portions. For the main, I ordered the sea bass which is tender and has crispy skins.
Really good service from friendly staff. We went for a roast dinner and it was fantastic. Highly recommend.

This was a great place to eat. The afternoon tea was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed. The food was really tasty. The service was really good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The staff were accommodating and had children with us and they made sure accommodated for them. The afternoon tea was worth the money. Would recommend.
The food was really nice. Got in there with the August 50% so was really good deal. Even though only place to sit was the bar, it was still a nice atmosphere. Only thing I would say is there should be more lighting in the room.
Absolutely fantastic meal and service! The atmosphere was very relaxed and the wait staff were very attentive. Would recommend to family and friends and would love to visit again when next in Cardiff (possibly for afternoon tea next time!)
Lovely bar and restaurant with really friendly staff. The food is absolutely amazing.
