So we came down to have a late lunch. I've been wanting some good Caribbean food for ages and they did deliver the goods. I had the coconut chicken. All I can say is I have a new comfort food. Laid back. Great to go to if you are not rushing anywhere. Eat, drink and chill. Island time in tbe Bay.

Went with family for the 1st time. 2 for 1 cocktails and when they say do you want your chicken spicy hot they mean it. Lovely decor and great service from the staff, definitely a return visit.

Turn up outside and not much to look at but walk through the door and your greeted to mellow reggae and soul cooking aromas. With great cocktail menu and daily deals of 2 4 1. I'd not tried this type of cuisine before and didn't know what to expect. The food came out and looked as good as it looked. Vibrant and tasty with plenty of kick. Honestly some of the best food I've ever eaten.

This place is a must visit if you want something different to the normal eateries around the city. I had the chicken skewers with hickory BBQ rub. Absolutely delicious! The place itself is beautifully decorated with a great use of space yet you feel like you are in your own ambient zone. The playlist is relaxed and keeps your foot tapping. The staff are happy and friendly. Not a place to be missed!

It is really a 5 star for an area of average and overpriced eateries. Just off the Bay, good plentiful and tasty food, pleasant waiters and honest drinks. Give it a try. Take the one pot dishes but choose the plantain instead of the dumpling that is too filling. Both the goat and the mutton are tasty

what a fantastic find. looking for some vegan options for my daughter e found this little wonder on a back road in Cardiff. great atmosphere, music ... and cocktails! oh, and did I forget to mention the wonderful food. Jerk Chicken, goat curry and vegan options that were well thought through. cant wait to go back.

We had a fabulous time! Love the ambiance of the place and the music! I had the Spicy chicken pot which was actually spicy and really filling. I also tried a bit if the jerk chicken skewers which was quite delicious!! Would definitely come back to try their other stuff on the menu. If you do visit please take cash for tip as they don't take the card.

Popped in to escape the surprisingly hot sun last Sunday and found it to be a friendly, chilled-out place with some really good food, and great service. We've ordered delivery in the past from the Woodville Road branch and the food has always been fantastic, but I'll always try to make it out to the bay now, as it really was a lovely place to relax. The starters arrived quickly though the mains took a fair amount longer despite it being a quiet Sunday, but we ordered a little after a large group so understandable. It's not as close to the centre of the bay as I'd hoped and might be a bit difficult to stumble on by accident, but if you're looking for something a bit different to the big chains of the Bay, do yourself a favour and check this place out. If you're new to Caribbean food the menu can be a little daunting, but I think we ordered a third of it and it was all great!
