We had a meat eater, vegetarian and coeliac in our party and managed to all get lots of great food that we enjoyed. Wasn't as tasty as I thought, but was still really lovely food and most of all I appreciated how many dietary options there were and the lovely staff/service.

We booked our meal for a family celebration. Our table was in a quiet part of the restaurant as requested. Service was excellent with attentive, friendly waiters and nothing was too much trouble. The food was served on warm plates and was the best Chinese food we have tasted. It was freshly prepared, hot and served in generous portions. We all agreed that every starter and main we had chosen was excellent! We ordered everything from crispy squid and duck pancakes to lemon chicken, curry and noodles dishes. The prices were also reasonable considering the quantity and quality of the food. We highly recommend this restaurant, especially for a special occasion, and will definitely be returning ourselves in the future!

Title: A Gem. A modern twist on classical Asian food.
Still good after all these years.
The menu is a journey through the best of Pan-Asian cuisine. Malaysian, Chinese, Thai and Japanese.
Each dish was a well presented and bursting with flavours that spoke of authenticity. The standout for me was the roast Duck in plum sauce.
This restaurant is not just about great food, the staff were very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. A destination that should not be missed. A resounding 5 stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Lovely restaurant, great service and vibe to it and clean as well. The food all looked good and I was super torn on what to order ended up getting the Beef ramen and was disappointed with it. If I could describe it one word it would probably be bland which is not what you want when you pay over £12 for a meal. The food looked great but portions on my friends meals wasn't the best. Overall not a bad restaurant just wasn't as good as I was expecting from a place that has in the past won top 50 in Cardiff

Great food there, strong recommend! dine in few times and today I decided to have some takeaways, absolutely fantastic, as good as I had in restaurant. The Chicken katsu is delicious, juicy and crispy. Will definitely visit again!! Better to book a table before you go, it’s so busy there. 😂

Food was nice but portions were really small and dry , the curry had no sauce to it . Also I ordered red bean ice cream but was given vanilla

I’ve been mad keen to visit The Crispy Duck on Whitchurch Road for a long time. They’ve won Oriental restaurant of the year in the South Wales Echo Food & Drink awards, a clutch of people have recommended it, and their menu of pan-Asian food reads really well (think sushi, yakitori, noodles and Cantonese classics amongst others). They’ve clearly got a broad fan-base too. On the Thursday evening we visited, the clientele ranged from Asian businessmen to toned crossfitters and a large group celebrating an 80 th birthday party. As we chose from the menu, we ordered a couple of beers and nibbled on a bowl of complimentary deep fried snacks that were light on seasoning and flavour. Whilst there’s a ton of interesting sounding dishes on Crispy Duck’s menu, its expansiveness and the seemingly arbitrary differentiation between some of the starters and mains (beef teriyaki (£8.80) is a starter whilst crispy duck salad (£5.50) is a main) made ordering more of a conundrum than usual. Put it this
