Fab service and excellent food. We came here for lunch to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday. We had a lovely greeting when we came in and the same lady was our waitress for the afternoon. Service and food was excellent and they even put a candle on my husbands dessert which was a lovely touch. We highly recommend. 🤙🏻
Went Saturday absolutely brilliant top food, Staff, and Facilities and the drinks selection is awesome Real Ale, Lager, Guinness, Cider all on tap everything under The Sun picking a drink was harder than completing a crossword recommend to everyone!!!!!

It’s been a few years since I’ve last been the Miller and Carter at Cardiff Bay.
I was a little disappointed with the cooking of the steaks. I could see the cut and the quality was there in the steaks but to have a tough steak at these kind of prices was a let down.
We ordered a T-Bone, a sirloin and a fillet all were pretty much the same, slightly tough and chewy, almost as if they had been taken straight from the fridge and cooked rather than left to rest at room temp before cooking, also these were under seasoned.
I remember previous visits the seasoning was almost like a Montreal seasoning but this visit it here was lack of seasoning and a bit bland.
This will not stop us from coming back as this might have just been a one off, and I must say the service was what saved it this time. Our waitress couldn’t do enough and seem to love her job which is rare in this day and age.
Fun fact: most stains are acidic in nature from hamburger fat to dirt and soft drinks. I take pride in being an acidic shrew compared to some of the basic shrews that unfortunately you have to deal with as customers #socks&sliders. The staff here does not deserve a bad reputation as they had done a brilliant job with our steaks and fantastic service. Keep up the good work and do not let them keep you down.

My recent visit to Miller & Carter in Cardiff, Wales was a carnivore's dream come true. I ordered the Ribeye steak cooked medium rare, to share and I can confidently say it was a perfectly executed culinary masterpiece.
The Ribeye arrived at my table with a sizzle, seared to perfection and still gently pink in the center, just as I had requested. The first bite was an explosion of flavor – the meat was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with rich, beefy goodness. The seasoning was spot-on, enhancing the natural flavors of the steak without overpowering them. The flavor and fat content was perfection.
Beyond the outstanding steak, the dining experience at Miller & Carter was exceptional. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, setting the stage for a memorable meal. The service was attentive and knowledgeable, from assisting with beer pairings to promptly addressing any requests.
Miller & Carter Steakhouse clearly takes pride in their craft, and it shows in the quality of their steaks. If you're a steak enthusiast, I highly recommend indulging in their Ribeye cooked medium rare – it's a taste sensation that will leave you craving more. It was undoubtedly a meal to remember, and I look forward to returning to explore their menu further.
Served by Jose today who made our dining experience a delight. His friendly smile and personality shone through, nothing was too much trouble for him. His attention to detail did not go unnoticed, one of the best servers I’ve experienced in a long time.
Food cooked by chef Jamie was outstanding as always. Can’t wait to return.
This is our favourite restaurant to come to , food is always beautiful every time . Staff are lovely . Quick service . Our server was José he was very lovely and the chef who cooked our beautiful meat was Jamie , I’m not usually someone who likes meat but it was cooked perfectly. Thank you

The food was great and everyone enjoyed their meal. The chicken and mushroom sauce dish wasn't something I would've thought to get but tasted great.
Before visiting I thought the good reviews were purely based on the premium brand but the service and food is at exceptional quality.
Lovely date with my husband, really enjoyed our steak dinner, cooked perfectly and the sides were amazing too. Our server Jose was very attentive and made our evening special. Thanks again.
The food was nice but i expected more, as there is always such a buzz around going to this restaurant, scallops were under seasoned. Considering that it is a steak restaurant, there were plenty of other choice on the menu.
Service was good, and the food timings were perfect with a decent amount of time between starter and main course.
I wouldn't rush back, but it was nice for a change.

Izaak our waiter, was brilliant from start to finish. He was polite, friendly, and full of knowledge. We found out he was helping out and usually works in Swansea!
Food was brilliant and the steak cooked to perfection.
Great experience much better than the others ones I’ve been too. Our waiter Attila was very great and helpful and props to the chef Craig for 3 beautiful steaks. Would recommend.
