Went here for a birthday meal mid week, and as always we had an amazing time. Food was spot on service was excellent. Our server was Ryan who was polite, chatty and helpful without being pushy. Would definitely recommend.

Arrived to a wonderful welcome, we had pre lunch drinks in the lounge and were then showed to our table. We were served by friendly staff who were very helpful with the menu. Our food arrived and was very well presented and exactly prepared to our liking, the steaks were amazing. Looking forward to my next visit.
Our waitress Megan looked after 21 of us! 3 tables! She moved one table to be closer as originally one was set up too far from the others!
The food was delicious, all served hot and steaks cooked to perfection.
2 of our party were vegan, and we were told there were no plant based burgers left , but thankfully they managed to find 8!
I had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday with my family, and Miller and Carter didn't let us down. 6 free glasses of prosecco with the email I was sent and a lovely slate Happy Birthday Board at the end was a lovely surprise x

If you like good, high-quality and perfectly prepared steak, then you have come to the right place. The ambience, the service and especially the food are absolutely first class. The Sweet & Smoky King Prawns and Sticky Chipotle Chicken starters were excellent and the perfect introduction to a great steak main course. The 50 day aged Sirloin and the 30 day aged Ribeye was cooked to perfection, tender and an incredible pleasure to enjoy. The wine list leaves nothing to be desired and offers something for every taste. This restaurant fulfilled all our wishes. It was a wonderful experience and I can only recommend it to everyone without reservation. Many thanks to Tracy for the amazing Service and to Rhys for the incredible grilling skills.
The service was relaxed, friendly, professional and efficient without feeling rushed even during a busy dinner service. The food is delicious. I had the 10oz Black Angus Ribeye steak cooked medium rare and it was perfect. I didn’t need to use the supplied steak knife as the steak wasn’t tough and melted in the mouth. I recommend the beef dripping steak sauce. The kids meals are also excellent as they don’t serve the usual kids menu beige food, kids can actually get a steak of their own, cooked to their liking with tasty starters and desserts too.
Evan served my partner & I tonight, he provided excellent service and made adjustments for myself as I am a fussy eater. Excellent and fast service. Food out of this world. Already can’t wait for another excuse to book a table!
First time here. Everything was really good about the evening. Booked for a Friday night and it was busy as expected, but we were seated and served quickly. Food arrived in an acceptable time and the presentation and steak itself was delicious.

A wonderful visit, greeted by friendly staff in a clean, luxurious and spacious restaurant. The food here was served in a very acceptable time even though the establishment was almost full to capacity. A wide selection of drinks are available at the bar while you wait for your table. The food is of exceptional quality, good portions and was still hot on arrival to the table. This is by far one of the best out-of-town restaurants in the area. It's advisable to book to minimise your wait for a table. Well done to all that work here, I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended.
Absolutely stunning plate of food. I had the buffalo chicken wings for my starter and then the 20oz t-bone and the banoffee pie . Cannot fault the food, gorgeous. It is getting expensive eating at miller and carter these days tho with it nearly costing £41 for the 20oz t-bone nowadays 🙈 , although people were piling through the doors when i was there 🤷♂️. I remember the t-bone being around £21.95 and 16oz/18oz porterhouse which was on the menu at that time which was around £18.95 in 2010ish. I always remember the prices 😌 unfortunately its literally doubled in price since back then, just hope they don't go so high people will simply stop visiting 😑Overall tho its still my fav restaurant 😋
We had food from the set lunch menu. It was all absolutely stunning. My husband wanted a banoffee pie for dessert but it wasn't on the set menu. No problem at all, Luke, our amazing server made it possible. Luke is an absolute credit to your restaurant. Thank you for a really lovely time 😊
I was served by Evan, managed by Danielle. I have previously been disheartened by eating out in North Cardiff and I took a gamble at Miller and Carter in Thronhill. I was not disappointed. The food was impeccable but the social catering was done by Evan and he made our evening. What a guy, h looked after us and made for a great night out. Danielle was a friendly manager and was happy to assist in our detailed menu enquiries. We will be returning! What a credit to hospitality! This place is not a waste of money!!!!

My Daughter told us about your restaurant, how nice it was and how amazing the food is, so we just had to try it. It was amazing we absolutely loved the food, a bit expensive for us so we have to save for a few weeks to visit your restaurant but it's worth it, visiting your restaurant is the only time we go out now, no where else is good enough now.Its worth staying in for a few weeks and looking forward to visiting Miller & Carter. We love it. The one thing we was looking forward to was the mango bomb, but they took it off the menu, I think that's the ideal summer desert.
Always love a Miller & Carter, and as usual we have another lovely meal. First time coming to this branch and it was slower service than usual but who really cares, food was lovely as was the staff member serving us.

Tracy, looked after our group of 3, for Saturday lunch. She was friendly, helpful and very professional. The food was delicious, all served hot and my steak sandwich was delicious cooked by Kris😋. Miller & Carter, Thornhill lovely clean restaurant. Would highly recommend here for a bite to eat.
