Very interesting traditional pub with authentic atmosphere. Good choice of beers and food

Excellent fish & chips! The fish was very fresh tasting, the batter and chips were perfectly crispy, and the portions were generous for under £10. The Brains beer was also very good, and the service was prompt on a Friday early evening.
Good atmosphere, tasty fish and chips. No Guinness, but Brains replaced it very well. 11 £ for food and beer were a great deal. The service was nice and fast on a Wednesday evening.
