Delicious Chinese food (try the duck) served up in a friendly local restaurant. The little old lady was a pleasure to meet and be served by. Not the cheapest place and not the best desert menu hence the 1* but will go again and highly recommend.
Three of us visited and we were all very happy with the food we had. Extensive menu and set meal options on offer. As previous reviewers have commented, the decor is rather old fashioned but it's the food that matters. The lady owner is a delight, she couldn't have been more helpful. Stand out dish
We had food here this evening for the first time in absolute years. Had the help out to eat out scheme and I have to say as a fussy vegetarian it was gorgeous! Was with 2 fellow meat eaters and theirs was gorgeous too they said. The vegetarian spring rolls were to die for from my point of view. The
Delicious and fresh takeaway from here last Saturday. The prawn spring rolls were light and delicious, beef and fish dishes tasty and Singapore noodles fab. Lovely prawn crackers thrown in with really friendly service. Shame they don't deliver, but worth going out to get. Also a shame they don't so
Been there to celebrate my grandson's 14th birthday tonight. Absolutely delicious and service fantastic. Thank you so much to the lovely lady who served us and for making the night so special. Highly recommend. Cathy
Attended a family get together along with 8 other adults and 2 children, food was delicious and staff very friendly. We all agreed that it was the best sit down Chinese we've had and looking forward to our next visit. I highly recommend the King Prawns, crispy beef and duck, simply gorgeous!
Very very friendly and caring with a lovely atmosphere and background music. Food is lovely, always piping hot and freshly cooked. Prices are competitive too with a wide range of delicious dishes, ive been going for many years and could easily lose myself in the menu. Thank you very much, always a
Super friendly owners with genuinely good hospitality. I felt like I was having a meal in someone's living room. The food was good (not amazing) and I happily finished everything. The prawn crackers genuinely sucked, that said it is a small family owned restaurant, it was a quiet Wednesday early eve
Old style Chinese restaurant with fish tank, lanterns, lucky cats, white tablecloths and lazy susans. We’ve put off eating here a few times because it’s cash only and also there are rarely many people inside. We tried it recently after we got bored of all the trendy, cramped, casual places springing
Fab food, lovely staff. Dont let the old fashioned decor put you off, this is a lovely little place and great value for money. Four of us had the two different menu's for two and there was so much food, we did manage to finish it all though! Well worth a visit.
