Massive improvement to the beer. The bar actually looked like it had been cleaned. Staff were attentive and not on mobile phones. Huge difference since change of leadership.

My husband & I stopped here for lunch today. A really clean, spacious, welcoming pub with a vast and varied menu and lots of meal deals and offers. What can I say about the Birchgrove in when I first move up to the Heath as I live & work at the University Hospital of Wales I went in to a couple of pub's as I didn't know anyone so I decided to check out the Birchgrove my first time there I was made so welcome it was as if I had been going there
