After searching whole gallery for a nice place to eat we found Mount Fuji, and we really enjoyed our stay. Ramen was delicious, I couldn't finish my noodles because portion was so big! My friend said he never ate better beef noodles in his life. So sad we've been in Cardiff for a short stay but whenever we come back we will definitely see Mount Fuji again. Fenomenal food, lovely and kind staff, quiet and warm place. 🥰
After a fun day in the city centre, me and my friends decided to try out this restaurant. The service was good and the value of food for money was great. I had a chicken and prawn bento box for around £16.5 and there was a pleasant amount of food. My friends also enjoyed their dishes too - I cannot recall what they ordered.
I would go again and try something else.
We visited this place on a wim as we were hungry
Its not a big restaurant, but there were a few spaces left
There were plenty of people tucking into their food and it looked great. Most of the customers were of Asian origin, not sure if thatss a good sign of good food or that,s just a myth.
We were greeted and shown where we could sit, but a friendly member of staff.
the menus and other graphics look quite poor compared to the other places within the St David Center. Maybe that's the look they want. Traditional, no frills look.
The menu isn't the most extensive, but it does have decent selection of food. The prices seem quite high, but the portions and quality were very good for us.
I ordered pork spice Ramen noodles and it was very nice. The spider crab roll was also very good. I'm no expert in Japanese cuisine, but i did enjoy it very much.
Overall a great experience and would visit there again.
Our bill came to £50 with 4 dishes, a wine, green tea and bottle of rose lemonade.
Lovely food, friendly staff, food comes out very quickly.
Had the chicken karage to start which was crispy and flavourful. Followed by the beef donburi which was lush - highly recommend. Dessert was a delicious scoop of black sesame and a scoop of coconut milk ice cream. Lovely end to a fab meal.
Only had the pork broth Ramen soup and it was yummy. Tasted the ramen noodles and they're really good but because its not actually part of my dietary requirements, I didn't finish the noodles. The two gyoza that came with the dish were really good and I ate them even though strictly speaking my diet doesn't allow for it but got a live a little from time to time I guess. Very yummy. Staff vet friendly. Food delivery was lightning fast. Having said that there was only one other table occupied. Will definitely come back.
The bento looks very nice and taste ok. The soup of ramen noodle is also taste good.
Great tasty food and friendly service. I will definitely return.
Really enjoyed the food and the service was fantastic.
Really could benefit from a more traditional atmosphere rather than the Coldplay compilation. Otherwise, more than satisfied.
Lovely welcoming staff and food was 10/10. Cant wait to go back and try more dishes!
What a great little Japanese restaurant, the staff are nice and welcoming. Recommended the bento boxes
Super friendly staff and served food fast even it was busy! Love castu curry!!! Super delicious!!
You can eat everything else but do not order the yakisoba. Everytime I go to Cardiff, I go to Mt.Fuji and always loved the food but this time around when we ordered something new to try which was the salmon yakisoba... the yakisoba was a disaster... My disappointment only ate the salmon and left the noodles out...
Nice staff.good service.good is marvellous.sushi is fresh and they have authentic flavour.we had nice Japanese drinks.will definitely come back.10/10 pure authentic Japanese food here.
The food was very tasty and authentic. The staff were nice and welcoming. The mood was nice and calm, and the restaurant was clean and tidy. Only gave 4 stars because once you were finished, you had to find staff in order to pay. But very minor problem. Would definitely recommend.
First time visiting, service was very slow. But food was pretty good! I had the chicken teriyaki donburi. A little on the expensive side.
