We decided to pop in for Sunday lunch at peak time short notice as other pubs had been booked up. Upon arrival we were shocked to see that there was not a single soul having food here - a few were drinking in the front pub-part, whereas the restaurant was quiet. Although it was off-putting being as quiet as it was, the food was brilliant. Extremely tasty - no complaints there. Other than the quietness and an awfully carnival-sounding buzzer whenever the kitchen buzzes the front of house staff, it was a pleasant experience.
I'm from Swansea my name is Gloria i had a wonderful welcome from all the staff and made a few good friends whilst I was there the atmosphere was so welcoming like home from home the meals I had there to be fair was outstanding and didn't have to wait too long for service either the night life was great as someone that only just met people I felt as though I'd known the punters for years they made me feel welcomed and involved in all conversations even though I'd just met them had a great night dancing with everyone I've never felt so welcome in a pub as what I did at the Heath...child friendly and dog friendly just a quick hi to Angela 😃 OUTSTANDING PUB that makes all welcome keep up the good work I'll come back soon to see you all

Good open mic 🎤 with welcoming house band. Since reversing the decision to only have open 🎤 mic every fortnight instead of every week Tuesdays have gone from strength to strength. Well worth a visit to a real pub.
Nice pub for a drink. Has a bar and restaurant side. Good pool table and darts. Beer is reasonably priced. Staff are friendly.
Very well priced pub food that is tasty. Friendly staff and reasonably priced drinks. 10% NHS discount too. Separate sports bar area with dart board and pool table.
I had the veggie burger, it was so good! 🤤 the patty was homemade and fresh, the burger was loaded with nacho cheese, fantastic, and the staff was very lovely, thank you 🙏 🫶🥰
My local from over 30 years ago. Paid a flying visit. Bar the same as it ever was. Proper pub. Lounge has had a decent revamp.
Very big pub. Food was generally good, especially the vegetables, but the 'vegetable wellington' was very sweet as if too much cranberry sauce and the stuffingcwas a bit dry. Difficult to find parking nearby.
I enjoyed a Xmas meal here with my team from work. It is a decent pub with two bars that has the feel of a ”local”. I am not a great fan of Brains beer so had a glass of red wine. The public bar has a pool table.

Nice pub in the Heath area of Cardiff, the pub was quiet on a late Sunday afternoon. The lady serving was very helpful and friendly. The food was standard pub grub but was very tasty and good value for money. A good pub well worth a visit if you're in the area and need a good value meal.
Such a lovely selection of drinks. Two lovely ladies behind the bar were so accommodating. Would definitely recommend (:
