Our first visit here. My sister and I arrived 15 minutes before kitchen closure so to be honest we were not expecting much. We ordered two curries half and half and WOW! ... I couldn't believe my eyes when they arrived at the table.

Nice pub. Went for the Sunday roast. Service was good, portion size good, meat, veg and meal in general was good. But I think the potatoes were frozen, they'd ran out of a few things and the wait was an hour.
Six of us were there today and all food was excellent. Rump steaks, liver, scampi and fish dishes were cooked to perfection and ample portions. Will be returning.

I cannot praise this place enough. Clean, staff are great and the food is second to none and so reasonably priced. It is a gem and definitely worth visiting. We want to go back to the area just to go back here
I hadn't been here for many a year, but my daughter took me for a treat. Great food! There was a really nice atmosphere. Haven't been to the pub since the 1990s. Good to see it has survived. Had a lovely lunch of Thai fishcakes. Landlady was able to change our booking as our previous appointment finished earlier than expected .
Fabulous pub food great, atmosphere great. Staff excellent. This pub has changed beyond recognition since Jen and James took over. Best pub in the area by far.
Such a lovely place with a calm atmosphere stome walls and an open fire. Or for summer days a large garden..and play equipment for young children. Great homemade food without high prices..
