We were trying to find a place that could also offer vegan dishes and the coconut tree looked perfect from what we've seen in the menu. When you walk in the atmosphere had been really good, and the gentleman at the entrance named Rodney was very nice and polite throughout our time there.

TCT is a good option for anyone wanting to try Sri Lankan / South Indian food in Cardiff. The chicken curry, roti and chicken kothu were amazing.

Nice place to enjoy Ceylon meals. The staff is friendly and attentive. Chicken kottu is the most favorite one in The Coconut Tree(for me). Portion is bit small, but not insufficient.

My first time enjoying Sri Lankan cuisine and it certainly won’t be the last. I visited with a large group of work colleagues and throughly enjoyed the experience. The dishes were exquisite and the service was impressive. Highly recommend!
Really welcoming restaurant, friendly polite, helpful staff, reasonably priced meals, ideally situated by the railway station and other eateries. Clean ladies toilets. If there is more than just one of you you will need to order a small selection of sides
