Great food makes a lovely cup of tea the staff are so friendly best place in Cardiff I go there at least 4 times a week don’t need to ask me wot I won’t no more lol xxxx
Best bacon sandwich in town ! Great staff very friendly and a clean environment
Would recommend food any time
So I have to admit, I came here for the pressed penny machine that a website said was located nearby. I ended up staying due to a combination of other reviews on Yelp and the vet reasonable prices.
Staff were friendly, I ordered a sausage and cheese toastie and a bottle of coke. Came to under a fiver. I did attempt to steal someone's donuts when I wasn't paying attention and thought they'd called my order though! Whoops!
The snack bar is a strange little hut right outside St David's Hall in the centre of The Hayes which make it a great stopping point when you're in the centre of town. This place is great if you're looking for a quick, simple bite to eat. There's plenty of seating available at the surrounding tables. The menu includes to usuals such as bacon sandwiches, sausage sandwiches, egg sandwiches, burgers, etc and lots more.
The pricing is reasonable for the amount you get and the staff are happy to cater to specific needs (I like my bacon extra extra crispy with lots of ketchup!).
This quaint little snack bar offers you the choice of delicious dinner time snack from sandwiches, rolls and burgers! Perfect for a quick lunch or snack.
What can I say "love this place"
Staff are amazing & friendly, cheeky & banterous too - always go back here
Great range of food on offer to suit variety of taste buds, good selection of drinks on offer too
Plenty of seating area, ample condiments and table and bins
Recommend you visit here you will not be disappointed 😃
Random stop off for some food. Really nice staff and food. Wouldn't mind stopping by when I'm next in the centre
Reasonable value for money considering it's in the middle of town. The bacon, sausage and egg roll was lovely, pennies more than Cardiff Market, so no biggie there, my only criticism was the bread roll was dry/stale on one end, which I wouldn't expect first thing in the morning. Will I go again, definitely. Their burgers look like great value at about £5-6 for a triple burger. Drinks seemed a reasonable price to, £1 for a can. A big bonus was accepting card payments, not many burger/breakfast stall places do, another plus was they were open early as well. (7.40am when I went)
First visit before seeing Wales sadly lose to Ireland. Went for double cheese and bacon burger; massive and probably only needed the one burger. Fries were also delicious. Highly recommend this spot and will be here again when next in Cardiff.
Had a coffee and egg and mushroom roll..yummy. Good coffee too. Outside space to eat which was great after the hot shops . Seating can be found under cover. No toilets here but they are not far. Good old fashioned Cardiff. My Nan used to love a cup of tea
here 50 years ago!
Would definitely recommend, really good food, good price, won’t leave hungry and staff are really friendly!
Just a quick stop off fir a cuppa tea.
Then I smelt the chips.
The girl behind the counter said she always smells like that.

Ta will definitely pop back
Food is always fresh and tasty staff are really down to earth and game for a laugh great bunch .
I really love their triple cheese burgers and it's really worth the price. Overall loved it.
I have an addiction to their Sausage and Bacon rolls, their food is THE BEST.
