Kings Arms Pentyrch - Cardiff - Photo album

Great pie & chips on a Saturday lunchtime. Tried the venison and wild boar, both excellent. Such a warm welcome and a pie menu plus a bar menu.
We were dropping someone off at Cardiff Airport and thought we'd stop for Sunday lunch nearby. We chose the King's Arms, and I'm so glad we did. We we're greeted by a friendly member of staff who guided us through to the restaurant. We ordered 4 soft drinks and decided on 3 roast beef and a roast la
Cold and draughty inside on a cold evening. Heating would have been appreciated as we all dined in our coats! Restrooms were even colder! Food was tasty but portions on the meagre side. Expensive for what you get. Young staff pleasant enough but not particularly attentive. Had to find them to ask th
10/10 from the moment we stepped in! Dan and his team were very welcoming, the food was also excellent. Our only problem was choosing what to pick from the menu due to it all sounding incredible! We will definitely be back soon to sample more of the menu!
Lovely location, atmosphere, staff and food. Truly an overall fantastic experience.
A slightly delayed review! We had our wedding reception here at The Kings Arms in October 2021. The staff were incredible and couldn’t do enough to make our special day run smoothly. The venue is stunning and the food was amazing. All of our guests gave compliments on how delicious the food was. We’
Visted first time and it did not disappoint!!! Stunning food lovely staff, we opted for Market Menu! Need to pop back to try the pies!
Really enjoyed Sunday lunch here today. Nicely presented meal with beautiful flavour. A gorgeous sunny day so enjoyed our meal outside which was peaceful. Served by lovely staff too. Definitely will be back.
What a great find. Real Ale, Real Food & Real Customer Service. I love 'the snug' as you can imbibe the atmosphere of this old pub. I can see the 'Open fire, cosy warm atmosphere' in winter however I was sat outside jn the sun in the garden. Dog and child friendly.
What a lovely little pub, staff are very attentive and food is amazing. Well done looking forward to visiting again on my next visit to Wales
A large group of 35 for a 40th birthday. Staff were so kind and accommodating. The food was delicious. Definitely recommended and will be back!
Lovely proper old pub. Lovely staff. Lovely vibe. Good proper beer.
March 2017. Friendly NEW owners and lovely atmosphere. Great service. Fast delivery. Helpful staff. Dog friendly with two open fireplaces. Can't fault this beautiful classic old pub. The NEW owners have done a great job of the extensive refurbishment. Glenlivet 12 in hand and dog at foot I look for
Lovely food, good customer service and a nice beer garden too. Vegan friendly options also.
Do exactly what they claim. Quality stylish but unpretentious food, keep a quality cellar. Give a warm welcome, but unobtrusively. Excellent service and help with wheelchair access. We recommend the King's Arms especially if you walk, cycle or otherwise visit Garth Top.
It was a great meal even at the end of their service standards here are always at the top. The pie was amazing accompanied by amazing beers and wines on offer. Will definitely be returning in the near future
