I don’t usually have breakfast at a restaurant, but decided to try Tuck in Cafe with couple of friends to try their breakfast , once we got there a friendly, energetic, and charming Girl named Srwa welcomed us and we asked her to prepare her favourite breakfast , we ended up with a decorated table full of delicious english and eastern breakfast
We did enjoy the meal and the coffee we definitely spend more time there and 100% recommend this place

A "no frills" local eating place that provided a wide choice of menu, attractive on the plate and generous portions of substantial food.
Sensible prices ensured that the cafe seemed to be well supported.
I was impressed by the speedy, willing service. Thank you all at the "Tuck in Cafe". Happy to call in again.
This is a cracking local cafe that does exactly what it says on the tin - breakfast and lunch with a lovely menu that is cooked almost on front of you! The food was great and came out piping hot and as can be seen from photos - portions are outstanding for the prices. The staff are lovely and judging by the conversations, many of the people coming here are regulars, which is not surprising for the welcome, quality and value for money.
It's hard to find a deal in 2022 but this little cafe offers fantastic value for money. A proper fry up with black pudding and fried bread. A classic and a wide selection on the menu for anyone's tastes. Great choices on drinks and friendly staff.

I don't know why this place was recorded as permanently closed. I would be devastated if it was! So I reported this as incorrect, and now Google shows it as being open again.
I've been coming here - with friends, colleagues and family for over 10 years. It's one of the few cafes who will happily swap something you don't like on the set menu, for something you do.
If the owners are reading this - you'll hopefully know me, as I always have a large breakfast, and swap the black pudding for an extra hash brown.
The staff are so lovely - especially Maria - so patient and calm even if a million things are happening at once. Amazing.
The food is never swimming in grease - and it's never too dry - they cook bacon in a way that makes me drool and salivate with every bite! The whole plateful is just divine perfection. They seem to know exactly how I like my food (and that's always slightly overcooked).
The coffee is pretty lush too - you don't get a skin on the top - it's a really nice blend.
Oh - and the price is right too - I spent £13 on two meals and 3 cappuccinos. Look how much you get!!!
But beware - this is a *very* popular cafe - if you don't time it right - you might have to wait for a table - but they'll squeeze you in somehow!
What an amazing cafe this is been there previously and had coffee & breakfast reasonable price but this week blown away by their kindness and community spirit. My mum fell outside cafe badly and head was bleeding they gave her first aid, hot drink and really looked after her. Thank you sooo much you make a huge difference
Go to this cafe often, usually Sundays as their roast dinners are top notch ! Definitely would recommend a breakfast or dinner if you're in canton.😁
Best big breakfast 100% I've ever had I would recommend everyone to try this lovely cafe lovely people there to serve you made up welcome and our meals were fantastic and hot fresh and we all enjoy ourselves 100% go there and see for yourselves

As someone who has probably had a full breakfasts in most / all the cafés in Cardiff, this place will take some beating.

The big breakfast is a must try! Very well priced and clean inside. Always clear tables as soon as someone leaves. Staff very well organised.
Haven't been to the Tuck Inn for a long, long time but it's still just as great as it ever was. Dropped in for a coffee today and although I didn't have time for food I'll definitely be coming back soon for one the lovely breakfasts (I saw enough of what everyone else was having to know how good the food is!). Beautifully clean inside, comfortable seating and blessed with friendly staff - fantastic cafe!
There was a power cut last time I was there, so only a limited menu was avaliable
We had the set breakfast at Tuck in café this morning and not only was the service great but so was the food. The cafe was clean welcoming and such a lovely smile on the lady that took our order would definitely go back
