Great friendly atmosphere
On my way to moving in for uni and this Sunday dinner sorted me right out. Great homemade stuff everything cooked perfectly! Staff friendly too.
Great food and menu and lovely, friendly, helpful staff. Small play area in the sunny and clean beer garden for the little ones. Fabulously decorated with quirky touches and a good selection at the bar. Very happy to have found this place
Lovely place, fab reasonably priced food. Lovely comfy sofas too and beer garden. Karen, Kendra and Rhodri always greet you with a lovely smile. Def worth a visit. Good music too and lots of events coming up.
We had a good Sunday lunch here. Quality meat and good veg accompaniments along with good friendly service. Only 4 stars as it's a little more costly than restaurants in Llandaff for Sunday lunch.

Took a visit to the fairly recently reopened Radyr Court on a Saturday evening after looking at the menu online and a quick view of their web gallery. The decor is somewhere between chic and trendy nightclub, unsure of its identity with fireplaces on the ceiling and jail cell doors to partition the rooms.
The venue is as bipolar as it gets. As you enter, immediately in front of you is what I can only describe as a sports bar with tv's in every orifice and a lively audience of twenty-somethings, enjoying the busy atmosphere.
To the left is a much calmer affair, with tables and chairs stood patiently waiting to be occupied. The bartender, studying the wine glasses with precision, has time to wipe away any watermarks before carefully placing them in the racks above the bar.
The food is the reason I would recommend without hesitation. Quality food that justifies the higher price tags, served by staff who manage to find the right balance of attentiveness required. Our steaks were perfectly cooked, the plate was well presented and I will return if only to taste the thyme infused flat mushrooms once more.
I fear the Radyr Court has yet to find either its identity or its target audience, but with food as good as it was, I am sure it will survive long enough to succeed.

Excellent food. Great value for money. Friendly staff with excellent customer service skills. Would highly recommend the big radyr court breakfast.

A good breakfast there last week. It looks a lot better than it used to and a much needed pub and eating place for the people of Danescourt and further afield.
