The Owain Glyndwr - Cardiff - Photo album

We visited one of the oldest pub in Cardiff. It was crowded with people who came to watch rugby on the day, but there were enough seats luckly. I like the atmosphere, but did not try any foods so I will try it next time.
Been here a handful of times and never a problem. Actually sat with a beer upstairs and watched baseball. God I miss my baseball! Tried to explain it to my friend but not sure he got it. Cool place to watch football on a weekend as well and a pool table. Never packed either. I like that.
Love this place!! But abit upset as I'm short and staff served 2 customers before me .... anyway ordered hot wings and loved them! Hot but with flavour aswell as spice 🔥🔥
This was a fantastic pub for me and my friend to go drinking at, with a vintage style that the lights and bar contribute to! The Welsh flag is also a neat addition, the staff were friendly and we shared a cocktail on the offer, sitting comfortably at a clean table.
I have been here previously and had the cauliflower wings (pic 2), which were really good as it was actual decent pieces of cauliflower. But my recent visit, I had the 3 small plates and had the cauliflower wings again and was served this disappointing plate (pic 1). I was upset as I usually love th
Great meal deals. Our food was served really fast. The staff were efficient, bubbly & very pleasant. The toilets were clean. Loads of seating areas. We found a nice quiet area to eat. I didn't understand the receipt of how they worked out the meal deals. We paid £5 extra for the drinks on top of the
I went into the Owain Glyndwr for a quick pint whilst I was staying in Cardiff. The pub has TV's all around for when the sport is on the box. I went in there when the Rugger was on and promptly walked out as it was so full. I went in there again yesterday when it was quieter. The pub is nice and
Excellent pub with great prices. Fast service and delicious food!
Popped in here on a busy weekend and the place was full to busting. Great atmosphere but we didn't stay as we wanted a table and food. Popped in the next day and had full breakfasts for 3 with drinks and spent under £25 which was great value. Food was good, standard breakfast and plenty of sauces p
Only had a drink but looks like a good selection if food choices and deals. Will need to try. Would recommend lilies strawberry mojito cider for those with a sweet tooth.
Great pub would highly recommend. Friendly staff, dog friendly provided water and treats for the dogs. They also make a good Long Island ice tea cocktail. Worth a visit good price as well.
Very spacious pub! Lots of televisions playing sports. Two levels with the upstairs having a pool table. Only had a quick drink so I cannot say if the food is any good.
The Owain is our go to meeting place. Guinness is good and well looked after. Service is always good even when busy. Haven't tried food here yet.
Came here on a rugby match day, where 65k fans were looking for food and drink. Stumbled on this place, which was extremely busy, but the staff were fantastic, all friendly and helpful despite how busy the place was. Highly recommended.
Absolutely loved it! Just normal great Welsh atmosphere! I am glad that we landed here today! Good prices and a large option of food for vegetarians or not! Kids meals and proper Welsh beer 🍺! Professional service and clean! Good to see the rugby or football or other sports. Big enough for large eve
went out with my girlfriend for a drink, to which they were more expensive than we realised. the service was quick, however the workers weren’t very welcoming. the guy who took our order just placed the drinks down and stared at us without saying a word. however, the girl who was walking around with
A very welcoming pub in the heart of the Welsh capital, great for those intrested in both sport as well as a cozy pub atmosphere. The drink and food service was speedy with the staff being very accomdating to all our groups needs. The site was also in good walking distance to the local castle and ar
Great big pub right in the middle of Cardiff. Good food and plenty of choice. Lots of TV screens showing sport . It's very popular on Rugby Days when it's rammed but good fun.
