Most elements of the experience were excellent. My wife's steak was poor, we have had better at low end restaurants. The wine was expensive but well worth paying.
Well located in centre of cardiff, and indoor and outdoor seating areas have a nice aesthetic that makes you feel like you're not in the city centre. Service was quick. Food tasty, and well priced for cardiff city centre. Nice cocktail menu, again well priced for location. Desserts particularly reco
What a fantastic pub, the service was friendly and excellent and they're very attentive to allergens, the beer was fresh and nice and the roast dinner was one of the best I've had. Can't wait to come back 😍
Really delicious Sunday roast at reasonable prices. Really nice pub which was very calm when I visited. Best gravy I've tasted in years!
Orders were placed via QR code which is situated at the table (pretty much the norm, for many places) Service was excellent. Drinks arrived promptly with a friendly server and very reasonably priced :) Even on a busy, sunny Saturday afternoon there wasn't a long and restless wait for service.
Booked an outdoor for Saturday early evening. After being shown to our table, a 'lively' party of people came and sat opposite which was absolutely fine. The gentleman who was supervising the terrace area came up to us and said he had just cleared a table in a quieter part of the terrace if we wante

Went here yesterday and had a Sunday roast, the food came quick, the food was hot and very tasty for a good price. I had a trio of 3 meats, beef, pork and chicken breast the meat was tender and succulent and fell apart and was cooked perfectly. The gravy tasted absolutely amazing with a wine sort of
Although from the outside this might look like a standard pub, inside there’s a delightful upmarket restaurant to be discovered. The staff are wonderful, giving an incredible welcome and professional service throughout our visit. Our group was seated upstairs in a great spot, with a view towards the
Food was fantastic Bar service excellent, it was busy as it was graduation day. Staff worked so hard, can't fault it We have visited for many years, the place could do with a lick of paint and the toilets are a bit smelly but this didn't spoil our night.
Went as post graduation celebration for 6 people. Had 3 course set menu which was good value around £22pp. Food was good and well presented and service very good. Also very dog friendly, provided with bowl and dog treats and dog allowed inside.
Visited yesterday during a shopping trip to town for the first time in forever. Booking was very easy and we only had to wait a short while to be seated. I was very reassured with regards to social distancing, track and trace was in place and the tables were spaced well. Staff were all wearing masks
Quality food great Atmosphere, a real cosy feel to the place, the pork and scallops was delicious,
Went for bottomless bubbles with friends to celebrate a birthday, Tea our server was incredible and made sure our glasses were always full, the food was great! Will definitely come back!
Great pub to go on match day, shared a table with a lovely couple of Welsh fans. Service was great, even though it was super busy and staff very friendly. That toilet climb was a challenge though🤣😬😩
Had a really beautiful lunch there. Great service and lovely staff. Everyone of them was very welcoming. They have a great wine list too with some exciting wines by the bottle and lots of outdoor seating that would be great for summer. My pizza was delicious and the Brownie for afters was very tast
