Went for a friend's big birthday, they did a nice celebration plate as we requested for the birthday girl, a lovely touch. The food and cocktails ( and shots) were fab. We'll done to the Corner House a superb show of service.
Only popped in for a quick drink. It's a very nice place to socialise. The servers were polite, prompt and well presented. It was very busy on the night of our visit ( probably due to the rugby) but we were served very quickly.
A milieu that exudes tradition and a relaxed atmosphere. The food, especially the vegetarian food, was really tasty. Nice staff too
One of the best Sunday Lunches I've had in a long time ! Fab cauliflower cheese also! Friendly, speedy service. Extra gravy pot was a lovely touch! 👍🏼
Most elements of the experience were excellent. My wife's steak was poor, we have had better at low end restaurants.
The wine was expensive but well worth paying.
Well located in centre of cardiff, and indoor and outdoor seating areas have a nice aesthetic that makes you feel like you're not in the city centre. Service was quick. Food tasty, and well priced for cardiff city centre. Nice cocktail menu, again well priced for location. Desserts particularly recommended. Option to order online using QR code at the table.
What a fantastic pub, the service was friendly and excellent and they're very attentive to allergens, the beer was fresh and nice and the roast dinner was one of the best I've had. Can't wait to come back 😍
Had a lovely meal with my family. The ribeye that I had was great and the sides were better than expected. We were attended to by Elizabeth, who gave good recommendations for the wife and kids. Overall, a great experience.
We hadn't been here before but it looked nice so gave it a go & we loved it. Great bar staff & a bustling atmosphere. We ended up staying for an extra bottle 🍾 as it was so lovely.
Only downfall is toilets not just so far away but just not clean & doors dirty, really needs addressing.
Cocktails are amazing, and the staff are exceptional. I absolutely love it here and I will be back

Although from the outside this might look like a standard pub, inside there’s a delightful upmarket restaurant to be discovered. The staff are wonderful, giving an incredible welcome and professional service throughout our visit. Our group was seated upstairs in a great spot, with a view towards the open kitchen. The table was a good size, decorated nicely and the seats decent for a lengthy meal.
The menu was large and had a good range - most people should be able to find something to suit. The prices were also reasonable for the setting. Orders were taken professionally and the dishes arrived in good time. Food was presented well and tasty, although the asparagus with the fishcakes was significantly over cooked. Throughout the staff remained attentive and were really good at spotting empty drinks and refilling. The atmosphere was really good, despite being upstairs and it worked well for a group and special occasion. For a more casual occasion or as a couple the tables by the bar downstairs are also ideal.
I left impressed and would certainly return for a proper meal, especially on more of an ‘occasion’. The staff won me over and the setting is great.
I visited the corner house with my two daughters the staff were very friendly and very welcoming. The food was outstanding and delicious. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing will definitely visit again
I enjoyed the Belly Pork slow cooked. Absolutely fabulous. I am gluten intolerant and my meal was adapted to suit my dietary needs. Will definitely be visiting again.

St Patrick day, lunch time and the day after Wales get beaten by italy in Cardiff. A warm welcome on our first visit here. Drinks ordered and my party of 8 starting to arrive. Upstairs dining and very polite and helpful staff. Great to be able to see the kitchen in full flight and seeing how good the food looked. Main courses and mini deserts with a hot drink of choice. All fresh hot all very tasty and plenty of fab gravy. You have to call it from your own experience so 10/10 from us. Add a surprise 88th birthday cake well done guys.... well done and thank you. Visited yesterday during a shopping trip to town for the first time in forever. Booking was very easy and we only had to wait a short while to be seated. I was very reassured with regards to social distancing, track and trace was in place and the tables were spaced well. Staff were all wearing masks despite the warm day and I saw tables being thoroughly cleaned between diners.ordering was very simple via the app and the food came very quickly even though it was quite busy. The food was hot with a fair portion size and was delicious, the cocktails were amazing! Special mention to James who explained what items were vegan or how to make them vegan. He was very knowledgeable and professional. We will definitely visit again soon
10/10 experience coming here. The food here is great, and the service was absolutely fantastic. Milly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome
