One of my Favourite spoons in Cardiff. Nice to have a bit of music and a few drinks. Food was absolutely out of the world. This was the best spoons food I've ever had. Ideally located near the Cardiff Central train station. And a short walk from the city centre. Lots of space. Few floors with loads of seating. Can't wait to return. Fast service by the staff.

The Great Western is a must-visit on a pub crawl in Cardiff. It's right next to the train station, has cheap beer and the food and service is always excellent. The pub is always pleasant even on a Saturday night.

We ate here on our visit to the capital, we picked a busy time but was able to grab a seat and ordered via the app. Food was quickly brought to us along with drinks and the prices were reasonable. I will be visiting here again.

Great atmosphere, friendly door and bar staff. Busy Saturday evening but speedy service, fantastic range of drinks at an amazing price. They still accept cash - bonus. If your visiting Cardiff, make sure you put this place on your list.

A little bottle of prosecco, a Pepsi max and a small pizza came to around £11.20. Great value. Served quickly at the bar and my pizza arrived not long after . Very tasty.

Such a beautiful building, at least on the outside, inside its what you would expect it to look like this being a national chain. It's also an ideal location to visit while waiting for your Train. Popped in for a coffee, it was provided by one of those vending coffee machines but was pleasantly surprised with the taste. The only alternative non-dairy to milk was sachets of oat milk/drink/what ever you want to call it. It did the job but would have preferred Soya. However, free refills nullified any misgivings I may have had about the lack of alternatives. Totally understand that perhaps coffee isn't where their main sales come from and i'm sure if you were to visit for other types of drinks you would have no qualms.

Sorry i cant say anything about the food. Because i didnt eat there. But it did smell very nice. The day was busy . So the bars were pritty full with rugby fans. But if you used the app to order at your table. The the service was alot quicker . I enjoyed definitely go there again.
