The Prince Of Wales - Cardiff - Photo album

Massive restaurant/bar spread out over 2 floors located in a historic building that once was a theater. The theater boxes are still present and one view upstairs has you looking at what looks like theater seating although is just decoration. There is plenty of options on the menu and all well priced
Visited on a Sunday lunch time. Firstly the building itself is stunning. Very large old theatre. The place was fairly quiet but was a sunny day. Easily found a table and ordered via the app. Food came out quickly as did the drinks. Did not visit the toilets. Ok as weatherspoons go. Place was tidy an
Excellent food and service. It's always over crowded on weekends. You get money's worth here. Lot of beer and cocktail choices. Originally it was an opera Theatre. Now converted in to a pub. Neet and clean pub.
Great place, great atmosphere, big screens for the sports asking with good table service. Staff always happy to help.
Cheap but good food and drinks in an interesting place. Bar tenders are friendly and chatty. The only thing the bugs me going here is I seem to have to work a good bit. Bus and wipe down my own table, hunt for a napkin and condiments...
An amazing atmosphere due to the venue previously being a musical theatre. A great view from a massive window which customers can sit next to. Service was slow, but possibly because it was a match day. Food was not of the best quality.
It's great to see another old building saved. The food was good, so was the wine and the prices the best. (The food menu seemed limited. I need to check another Spoons to see if this was just the Prince of Wales' menu or whether it is the same everywhere.)
Get what you pay for. Reliable, quick, easy to eat and order food. Price is great.
Recommend to order through Wetherspoon app as its easy, really nice place and very friendly and nice staff.
They have 2 for 10£ cocktails, 2 for £12 cocktails and 2 for £15 cocktails which is crazy as in Adelaide you only get 1 for $10-$15. And the food was good and a reasonable size and price.
Love this particular spoons because of the history and decor and you can always get served quickly, a pub you can drink alone and feel safe,
Incredible pub in the heart of Cardiff. This former theatre offers very good food, great beer, and most of all, ambiance and location. Service was not exceptional, which I attribute to the amount of people waiting to be served. A matter of a bit of patience. However, just visiting it is a rewarding
Great for unlimited hot drinks and tea £1.45. Good food and not a ridiculous price. Got the thumbs up from me. Can always rely on this chain to deliver. Excellent value.
Extremely popular and always very busy Wetherspoons situated very close to the central train and soon to be bus station. Although its busy it is always well staffed so food and drinks arrive quite quickly.
Great place, food is great, prices are excellent, spacious, friendly
The wife and I met my best mate and his wife here today for food and to catch the South African game. My mate and his wife are South African/ Welsh. It was also our 17th wedding anniversary. We enjoyed the game and the food and will come again
Great Welsh atmosphere on Saturday nights. Drinks come cheap and the food is reasonable (and cheap too). Great for a night out. Order via the website or at the bar. Staff is friendly and very helpful.
Might have been bad luck but our scrambled eggs was old and had egg shells in it. Replacement meal didn’t come so we got a refund instead. That said, service was excellent and staff friendly.
