Good pint of Guinness as usual from this friendly local pub, but went here today 10/08/23 at 2:00pm, and the place was closed. We waited until 2:15 and another customer who was waiting in the car park tried to ring them but no answer, so don’t know what happened today
Camera parking, but staff always there to help make life easier just pop in and speak to them.

Had a really nice afternoon tea here with some friends. Great selection of sandwiches and sweet items. Fantastic value for money. Staff very nice and attentive. Will definitely come again.
Went there for a darts match. A nice, cosy, friendly pub with reasonable prices. They also looked after us with some sausage and chips... Lovely jubbly.
Went for a quiet drink while waiting for a concert to start. Bar staff were really nice. Had to have bottles of diet coke due to the tap not working, but the bottles taste better anyway. Came on Friday steak night for the first time. Cooked to perfection with home made chips like your nan would make. Bargain price. Friendly. Good wine. 10/10. Highly recommended.
Great local pub! The landlords are lovely and have made food for us at the drop of a hat. The prices are good and we go there often. They're now doing curry on a Saturday, which is great. You can even get the curry as a takeaway!
This quaint little pub has nee management.... The couple gave a clear vision of where they want to take the pub; they are both personable with a great sense of community. I'm sure it will be more inviting once they get their feet under the table and I guarantee that meals will be amazing as Emma is
This landlady is amazing. knowing I was on a diet cooked my omelette in her own fry light and shared her low salad calorie dressing.

Limited range of beer on tap when we visited but a great local pub... situated nicely for those having a wander up the Garth and in need of some refreshment. Excellent food.
