Always spent great time here alone or with friends or family. Rebranded and even more popular among the people who love small chats and enjoying lovely tapas or the coffees and other goodies. Small parking provided by the patrons but plenty of parking spaces around the Roath Park at just a minute away from this lovely restaurant. Cosy atmosphere and very polite and flexible service. Dogs friendly and plenty of places for everyone even if you have a small event. Recently I spent nearly 2 h for a business meeting as free internet is provided. We decided to eat tapas and do our job in this pretty quiet corner. Recommend for anyone!
Good tea, interesting décor.
This used to be field of beans, now under new management the place is purely a cafe with a new décor. Some of it is not to my taste, or comfort (The bean coffee pillow was very scratchy) but the tea was good but a bit costly. Very close to roath park, it has nicer cakes but less good views then the cafe there.
Overall, one of the only and better places in this part of Cardiff.
Interesting place different to your standard cafe. Good good quality but the prices make you pay for it. Good for a quiet meal for two as well as a crowd. Near to Bute park which is also worth a visit.
Great place for coffee, chilled out atmosphere and comfortable.
Lovely interior, can actually have a conversation without deafening background music. Tables and chairs spaced out so not sitting on top of each other. Excellent choice of food at reasonable prices. Service was good too. Would recommend if you want a leisurely lunch.
Just visited The Corner for the first time. Lovely place. Quirky. Really helpful staff. Cosy, homely feeling. Great coffee, and bacon sandwich. And what a change to find an independent cafe open at 08.30 on a Sunday. I'll definitely be returning during the week to try the lunch menu....
I love this coffee stop. Staff are always chatty , the coffee shop is spottyless clean , drinks are always nice and hot and you can take 'nice' dogs in which is great after a walk over Roath Lake.
The place has so much character that u will go back regularly once discovered.
Lovely coffee and prosecco; dog friendly in coffee area; friendly staff!
Quirky interior, decent menu (tho we didn't have food), and good coffee. Well set up for CV-19 with a one way system and card payments. Taking part in the EatOut scheme. Will have to come back sometime to try the food. :-)
Cosy bistro with a comfortable atmosphere. Whether staying for food or just popping in for a coffee the staff are friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend the mushroom risotto. Dog friendly too. Will definitely return.
