Tremendous fish and chips, best in town. Great for students like myself and saw plenty of other customers who had piping hot food. Everything is made fresh and the donner kebab was simply outstanding. You’ve got yourself a regular customer lads
One of the best chippies in this area! Fish cooked to order and chips were spot on! The price was if anything too cheap for what you get. Excellent customer service and will deffo be back on the next visit to Cardiff. Don’t forget to try the curry sauce !

Lovely staff and amazing tasting food, especially the chicken donner and chips, chicken curry and chips... mainly they do their sausage in batter in a different way where they are extra crispy and and full of flavour.
I really like the food here! It is good quality and value. This is definitely my favourite fish and chips shop in Cardiff. I highly recommend eating here, especially if you are looking for a quick meal around Cathays.

Only became a local recently to the area and Cathays Fish bar is by far the number one choice for me, staff have been amazing in regards to service and providing a friendly atmosphere! Lovely bunch of guys that work there and hoping it'll be my local for years to come! Top munch lads!!
