I have a habit of coming here to study. Thankfully I can always find a place to sit even on a cold day. The staff are lovely. Another plus side of Second Cup is the wide variety of drinks so there is always something for everyone even the fussy ones 😂
This place full of love and amazing drinks , the cup of coffee that I had in have made my day , incredible stuff especially the wee blond dude (AbdAllah) . This is one of the amazing experience in my visit to Cardiff. VERY LOVELY , COSY and peaceful. Thanks Second Cup
We loved the upstairs with its relaxed atmosphere and easy chairs, friendly staff and reasonably priced plus a great tasting tea (good teabags).👍
Really cosy coffee shop, was surprised how good this place was. Had a nice flat white coffee, strength was good and tastes how a flat white should!
Cakes were nice too, presentation was great and tastes lovely.
Will return and recommend to others.
A really cosy and pleasant cafe with a wide variety of sandwiches, cakes and hot/cold drinks. The staff are very friendly and unlike most city centre cafés, you don't feel like your are being rushed out after 15 mins. Highly recommended.... The next time you are waiting in town and need somewhere to grab a coffee and read a book, Second Cup should be your destination.

A very charming little place which has a good sense from Modern style. I asked what the iced chocolate was and unfortunately neither of the Bristol quite knew what the menu on that item meant however was very informative very polite and eventually made me a rather wonderful cup of hot chocolate and my best girl a great latte. The place has a decent amount of charm and I'd always recommended for exactly as they say having your second cup of coffee of the day.
Even though Queen Street is already crammed with coffee shops, Second Cup is a nice change of pace. It's small but colourful, and the range of coffee and cakes absolutely trumps those of it's closest competitors and I was genuinely surprised at the relatively inexpensive cost of most of the products on offer.
It's only recently opened and so there were so obvious teething pains - LOTS of inquisitive new customers, but not a whole lot of space for them to sit. Also I've never seen a more crowded till, and at one point there must have been at least six people behind the counter and only two tills.
Looking forward to popping back once things settle down, and absolutely worth a shot if you've got a sweet tooth.
I was pleasantly surprised by this cosy place. With so many coffee shops already around I worried that this one wouldn't be worth it but I actually hope it survives. Lovely sweet coffee, tasty wraps and a quality cake selection served by welcoming staff. Would definitely recommend.
Favourite coffee shop in Cardiff, been coming here for a year now! Great customer service, and lovely upstairs to get lots of work done. Also should mention, the best hot chocolates and matcha tea lattes Cardiff has to offer! Good prices and hygiene levels too.

Try to come here every couple of weeks for some father son time. Coffee very tasty, staff increadibly attentive. We come here as my son loves the macarons great choice, nice selection of other cakes and sandwiches. Nice quirky decoration love the wall of clocks upstairs.
Absolutely wonderful coffee the best I have ever had. Highly recommend this cafe to anyone who is looking for good coffee and a place to relax. The cakes and treats were also wonderful and the service was excellent and left me incredibly pleased.
To be honest I've always had a good experience here, the attractive lady that served me had an equally attractive personality, friendly, and Kind. Would recommend this place good coffee, friendly staff, and especially liked the air con during these summer months, greatly appreciated, overall my experiences have been good, .
Reminds me of coffee back home (Sydney, Australia) Has to be THE BEST tasting coffee I've had in the U.K. to date! Service is great as well as the ambience in shop. Highly recommend this café to all REAL coffee lovers!!
Really friendly, helpful and coffee-knowledgable staff, great cakes and prices, some of the best coffee we have had in a long time, out of all the coffee shops on and around Queens Street this is by far the best. The staff are definitely one of the selling points of the coffee shop
Had a piece of cake and a latte here. The cake was a rather generous size and the latte was also generous and piping hot. Staff were friendly but it did feel a bit cramped while sitting down.
