Typical very spacious Wetherspoons with good range of real ales and the standard food menu. Food was good as was the beer especially when considering the prices. Was fairly quiet 4pm on a Monday but can be very busy evenings and weekends when it could be very noisy!
A decent Wetherspoon this one! Great staff, friendly and efficient service. Usual โ€˜spoons fare, great food and drink at great prices. The pub is always clean and tidy. Prefer this one over the more central Cardiff spoons, which are much busier. Lots of seating areas set over three levels and two la
This was a great pub to go for a drink at, with a vibrant design contributed by the likes of the stairs and bar! The Welsh flag is a top addition, the staff were friendly and menus are available at tables. I sat comfortably for a refreshing drink of Black Grape Vodka, although it had not been mixed
The best one, as usual. Great food, fair prices and enormous beer brands. Regrading food, hamburger and potatoes are served with absolutely no salt and pepper. Thus, you can make it/prepare/adapt by your own after served with catchup, pepper, etc. Everywhere I go, this is the place I look for having
Huge 'Spoons, with bars over a number of floors. Great value, of course, especially on the Curry Club day. Yum. Good selection of beers and excellent WiFi etc. Loos a fair old hike so don't leave it until the last minute. Haven't been here for a few years but still as good as ever.
Bang outside the principality stadium , clean , according to the wife , ladies toilets have the facility where u can take your drink with you in the cubicle what a good idea
Fab pub and great food considering how busy the place was!
It was a total pleasure to join the Welsh guards veterans on there remembrance to the Galahad event they made me welcome and part of the family friends for life respect to the veterans they don't get enough credit and they are a jolly bunch of young lads in a grown man's body thank you for your serv
I enjoyed my experience at Weatherspoon. It's what I expected. Puts other restaurants away with their curry Thursday meals. Tops I'll come back for dinner and also the next time I'm here in Cardiff. Way to go guys. Top notch๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘
A very nice place with very reasonable prices and great variety of food and drinks. Food taste was average, we ordered a steak and a burger. The cocktails were very tasty. Overall a pleasant experience. They, however, don't play premier league games on tv.
Nice, Friendly Staff & plenty of covid guidance in place. Supported me to use App as was having difficulty - upon entry I was greeted by a group of Males smoking by main entrance & a Bin Lorry that stank , I don't smoke but could smell it when I sat down & had my drink - I found it unfair that Non D
โ€œWe were all of us cogs in a great machine which sometimes rolled forward, nobody knew where, sometimes backwards, nobody knew why.โ€ - Ernst Toller Cheap booze, inexpensive value for food and the comfort of having different classes of customers surround you but mainly just one type. You have to giv
Been here a few times for drinks but never for food, big spacious area with seating both on the ground floor and upstairs. Enjoyed the couple of times I've been here, although when very busy it can take a bit of time to be served but you get that anywhere that's busy, luckily I've not had that iss
