Really enjoyed this meal in Swansea! Having had a really spicy dish in the Cardiff branch a few years back, this meal really knocked that one out the water! A beautiful chicken dish, not too spicy, and a lovely soft punch. Happy days for groups, parties and lovely staff, I would certainly go back.
We booked online, very easy to do, the table was waiting for us when we arrived.
The drop bid service was a little slow, but the flavours in the cocktails were great, and I love the Rum Boards.
The food arrived in great time, especially considering how busy they were. Would highly recommend the Prawn & Mango curry, I could have eaten two!

If you don’t like spicy food I recommend the mo chicken, was really tasty and mild spice! Loved it!
Love it here - have had food on two occasions which was lovely and another two occasions popped in for cocktails! Would recommend!
Food was delicious, spices tingle on your tongue. Cocktails were very good, lots of variety. Friendly, efficient staff. A must to try.

I am from California visiting Cardiff. I was there this afternoon for the first time. The curry goat on a pot was very good. It was medium spicy but that's okay because I love spicy food. The atmosphere and the Reggae music playing was very good. Everyone working there were very friendly. I do plan to go back before going home.
Food was delicious, staff friendly and atmosphere great. Cocktails packed a punch and were something different. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be going again.

I have visited here once before i recently visited again on monday and both times my partner and i have received amazing customer service. The staff are always so lovely and make sure you get your food and drinks quickly at bottomless brunch, unlike other places that takes ages to get you your drinks in the 2 hour slot. The food and drinks were the best i have had in a long time and everything was just perfect. I would definitely recommend this bottomless brunch and the restaurant in general

Visited Turtle Bay with my wife before Sting Concert in Castle for lunch amazing atmosphere and food. Our waiter Charlotte done excellent customer service.

We booked Turtle Bay for food and drinks as part of a date night and were served by Luke and Jerin, who are honestly a credit to the restaurant - friendly and attentive, without being intrusive and happy to give drink recommendations
We had the black cherry rum which was one of the nicest rums I have has - highly recommend! The food was all 10/10. I had salt fish fritters to start, which were crispy and spicy and honestly my favourite part of the whole meal - I could have eaten another plate! I also had the jerk chicken breast with coconut rice, which I very much enjoyed. My boyfriend said his chicken wings were some of the best wings he has had and, while he isn’t sure he liked the goat curry, this is down to personal preference (the first time he had tried goat and he wasn’t overly keen on the meat) but the sauce, rice and fries were a winner! Over all a lush meal out, with fab service - we will be back soon. Thank you!

There was far too much spice on the food and really should have more options to have no spice added.
3 out of 4 of us left food due to it being too spicy and it wasn’t enjoyable.

I had the katsu curry which was lovely. Katsu flavour with a Caribbean kick.
I also tried the cocktails and can recommend the Tobaga Tea and Bahama Mama. (My love of cocktails pushed up the cost per person. Food is around £13 per main).
The only reason I marked atmosphere as 4 and not 5 is because I was there for lunch and it's hard to have a 5 star atmosphere at 2pm!
There are many restaurants to choose from in Cardiff, if you like a bit of spice - come to this one.

Very nice place for lunch. They had 1+1 on mocktails (I'm not able to drink a cocktail for lunch and survive), and their Caribbean food is very good (if on the spicy side).
Tried the chicken with plantain and the jackfruit bowl. Would love to return and try some goat dishes as well!
Beautiful food as always and friendly service. We booked last minute (Monday) as we were in the area.
Ribs were falling off the bone and the chilli chocolate brownie was delicious!! Highly recommend if you're ever in Cardiff and looking for lip-smackingly good food! I'd also recommend downloading the Turtle Bay app too for rewards, secret menus and recipes.

My fiancé and I want to give a special mention to Harri. We visited yesterday evening (Saturday 30th September) to have a few drinks to celebrate getting engaged on Friday. When we walked in we were warmly greeted by Harri who was doing a fantastic job making drinks behind the bar, working with incredible pace. When we told Harri about the special occasion that we were celebrating he took out his own card and paid for our drinks. His kindness and generosity made our day. He is a real credit to Turtle Bay. We will definitely be returning in the future.
The drinks were delicious. We can’t comment on the food as we didn’t have any but we will be back to try the food soon as it smelt amazing.

Great Jamaican food, we had a great time! I highly recommend the bottomless brunch, our waitress, Lucy, was very attentive and we had a great chat about nights out in Cardiff! The bar staff's cocktails were beautiful, too!
